Geez, I don't know how many Amazon Basics cables I have! They're just quality cables that I never had an issue with, so when I need a cable to hook up home theater equipment or monitors I usually end up buying an Amazon Basics cable. When PC manufacturers switched over to DisplayPort it kind of threw things for a loop, because I had extra HDMI cables, but zero DisplayPort cables. Well, just like with all of the previous cables I had purchased, I've had no issues with the Amazon Basics DisplayPort cables. They're now connected to a Quad-monitor setup I have for trading screens & I have a few other mini pcs that use DisplayPort that I've bought cables for, as well as my parent's new PC. Have never had them lose a connection or do anything weird. They work perfectly fine!

If your in need of a Longer display port cord then you found the right place. Don't let the price full you, I bought 2 of these 10 ft display port cords and they not only work but work great. Now they don't have that looking divise on them and to me thats a good thing, have you ever tried to undo a display port from your graphics card inside a computer? All tell you that sometimes it gets pretty tough to get them to come apart and also i don't think the ones that lock are that good for your divice, if that cord gets tight for some reason while your moving your computer around i would rather it comes unplugged then have it rip my display port right out of my $1000.00 graphics card. I got to admit that i was a little skeptical when i ordered these but once i plugged them in and seen how good they worked on two Viotek 34" monitors my skeptism was all gone. There about a 3rd of the price of other 10 ft display port cords and i would recommend them unless you just can't live without that locking divice thats going to ruin your graphics card or monitor some day. I got the Amazon Basics displayport cable for my new monitor about 10 days ago. It works fine. Today I received a Moread version of the same type of cable. They both work. The Moread is 30% cheaper than the Amazon Basics and at this price point you may want to get the Amazon Basics. This review will be mostly a comparison of one or two "features". The Amazon cable is more slender (thinner) and I think more supple than the Moread. I think it is a trifle easier to get it to be routed around corners and because of it suppleness may be more easily hidden. it has straight-forward molded plugs with a texture pattern on the side for grip. The plug protrudes 1/2" less than the Moread and the plug itself is more slender. I bought the Moread for a 3rd monitor and am ok with it. I think the Amazon basics design is a little cleaner and the cable itself seems a bit easier to deal with. It was $4 more than the Moread, so no real deal breaker. If you want to save the money buy the Moread. If you want sleeker and easier to hide buy the Amazon.

I purchased this product back on March 6th, 2018. It's a displayport cable. It carries a video signal to a Viewsonic XG2560 1080p 240Hz monitor without issues. My only gripe with it is that it doesn't have a lock or retention clip so if you accidentally bump the cable, you may cause flickering on your monitor which otherwise may not happen if you were using a cable with a clip/lock. The good thing about it though, is that if the cable ever gets yanked accidentally, your PC/monitor won't be dragged along with it. I've read stories of people with dropped monitors and PCs because they forgot to unplug a display cable with a locking mechanism and as a result, made their expensive equipment kiss the floor.

Bought this three years ago now and it is still working great. Used daily often for large portions of the day. It has also survived multiple moves and being transported many times. Would expect a cord like this to last and this has done that. Good quality and a good price at the time.

Très bon produit qualité prix selon ce que j'ai déjà pu acheter à droite à gauche depuis quelques années. Il faut avouer que tous les produits Amazon Basics en général que j'ai pu acheter tiennent la route. Même si cette marque ne représente pas ce qui se fait de mieux sur le marché, le rapport qualité prix est toujours au rendez-vous. Je n'ai jamais été déçu. Ces câbles (j'en ai acheté 2 en long 3m) sont plutôt de bonne facture, au toucher et à la manipulation. Ils sont qualitativement pour moi dans la bonne moyenne. Aucun souci concernant la qualité du signal. Le seul petit détail qui concerne spécifiquement ce modèle Displayport (DP), contrairement aux connecteurs HDMI, c'est qu'en général les connecteurs DP disposent de clips de verrouillages afin qu'ils soient bien maintenus mécaniquement. Ces cordons n'en disposent pas, bizarre. Ceci ne gène en rien leur utilisation à partir du moment où il n'y a pas de traction mécanique. Je recommande donc ce produit sans aucun problème. En espérant avoir pu vous donner quelques informations utiles.
