Good when you get the right size
I just learned that 1 inch bulkheads have a 1 3/8 in hole & 1.5 inch bulkheads have a little under a 2 inch hole (on inside). It was confusing since i baught 2 1.5 bulkheads and recieved a 1.5 and a 1 inch (both in 1.5 in packaging).

These are great and you can beat the price
Schedule 80 OD is 1.9 inches. Also a 2" flexible couplers fits great on the large thread. They EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR and the size is great!

This is a long walled fitting that is ideal for using in a wooden hot tub application.
This fitting works perfectly for installing 1 1/2" suction and return lines in a wooden hot tub up to 1 1/2 " thick (it could be a bit thicker, but 1 3/4" would be pushing the edge). The price is outstanding as these fittings are hard to find. The inside facing is threaded and works well for adding a screw in skimmer to the suction side. Outside is a slip fit. This unit includes the tightening nut and the inside has a rubberized ridge that functions like a gasket. Great product if you are adding a circulation and/or heating system to a wooden tub.

NOT THE SAME as 1.5” tube/water feature fittings in big box stores!
These are HUGE😬 NOT the same sizing as any the 1.5” pond/water feature, or tubing fittings sold in big box stores. Sadly, I can not use these with anything else I bought (Lowe’s/HD/Hartville Hardware) that is 1.5”😞. I want to return it, but this may/may not be my fault for missing dimensions in the description...TBD. Pay attention to ID/OD dimensions! They are bulky & of good sturdy quality I’d imagine. More like an 1 7/8”😒 I haven’t used/put these together w/anything, or dropped them- the threads are slightly rough in spots. You need a strong hand to get the nut off, but I ‘could’ do it by hand w a towel👌🏼

Awesome 👍
Total cost effective quality and reliability. Never a leak. Easy assembly on solid tank and with a vinyl liner. I have purchased several for different applications. Never a leak even in long term use. (At least a year maybe closer to two) I recommend this product

fits standard 1.5" ABS pipe
Somehow it's not clear that this bulkhead fitting accepts 1.5" threaded ABS on one side, and 1.5" glued ABS pipe on the other. The end shown with a nut is the GLUE end, the inside of the flange end is THREADED. Glue a pipe on one side, screw a threaded fitting on the other, continue with ABS. The washer has ribs for a better seal on uneven surfaces but won't work on a round tank. Remember 1.5" pipe is INSIDE DIAMETER, the outside of the pipe is larger. That's why this fitting seems so large: 1.5" plus schedule 40 thickness plus the fitting walls plus the flange. The inside of the glue end measures 1-29/32, the flange is 3-13/32, the outer threads (the hole you have to drill) are 2-11/32. There. That answers all the questions I had before I bought it. Just what the doctor ordered for putting a drain pipe through the floor of my trailer. But you're probably buying it for something else!

Not the best
Initially I figured this was of standard quality. However, in applications where there is moderate liquid pressure (e.g. about 3.5 feet of head) which requires more than hand tightening, I think the quality is not great. While tightening the nut on one of several fittings, it began to slip threads (could only tighten it a little bit before it would 'skip' and loosen). I realized this was likely due to warping of the nut, apparent in most of the fittings. Thin nut, thin flange and thin gasket. For a few more bucks I would recommend the much heavier EDPM fitting of a competitor.

Won't stop leaking no matter what I do. *UPDATE*
*UPDATE* As I was removing this to replace it with a uniseal, I realized there was a burr trapped under the gasket that was causing it to leak. After doing some surface prep with a box cutter, and tightening it with a pipe wrench I haven't had any issues with leaks. Make sure your seating surface is clean! These are terrible. I put two in the bottom of a 55 gal barrel. Both leaked not matter how hard I tightened them. Gasket material was on the inside so as to provide a better seal. After caulking one of them three times, it finally stopped leaking. The other one will not stop leaking no matter how much caulk I put around it. Don't waste your time. I've ordered uniseals and hopefully those will solve my problem.

Me encanta esta marca tiene mucha calidad. La use para conectar un acuario de acrílico. Tomen en cuenta que el diámetro mencionado es para la tubería de PVC que van a utilizar.
