This set is stunning and I enjoyed using it to make my matcha. The quality is great and there is not chipping. The colors are vibrant and the value and functionality of the bowl is easy to use. Very easy clean up.

This matcha tea set is absolutely perfect for both beginners and experienced matcha drinkers. The bowl has a great size and shape. Wide enough to whisk comfortably without splashing, and the ceramic feels sturdy and well-made. The bamboo whisk is high quality, creating a smooth, frothy matcha. This is one of the most well packaged beginner matcha kit set. It literally has everything you need/want plus extra. After much use, I find that the whisk, strainer, scoop & chasen bowl is most important. The whisk holder is not super necessary, but definitely useful for the longevity of the whisk. The book is also very helpful for beginners in how to use these provided products. The mat is the one I find the most useless in the most day to day operations. I don't use it at all. But maybe if it was a more serious preparation, then I could see how it could be useful.I've been using it multiple times now and have gone though 2 matcha powders tins. I feel like I would suggest this product for the price and everything that's included.However after much use, I feel that if I had to nit-pick something... I wished that I had chosen a different color bowl. Despite the initial cool design of the bowl, I feel like the color is a bit too dark. A lighter colored chasen bowl would be better to see how foamy your matcha is. Also, the bowl doesn't necessarily need to be this big. A slightly smaller bowl would also be equally efficient. Otherwise, the other products in this box works fine and is still useful to this day.

First, before I give my take, let me say... get a good quality Matcha (try matcha.com). If it's cheap, expect to get, and taste, what you paid for. I bought an organic ceremonial grade matcha that is so nice.I really like this set and recommend it for 1st time matcha users, such as myself. Everything is here that you need. I was going to give it 4 stars because the chasen is not a great quality and some of the tines are already broken off at the end after just a few weeks of use. It will get me by for now, but I will invest in a better one.Other than that, it's all good including the fine mesh strainer, however you don't need a strainer for matcha. Just put a tsp (2 scoops using the included stick) in the bowl and add 1TBS ROOM TEMP water (not cold or hot!). Stir gently for 30 sec to a minute with the chasen and the matcha will be glossy with no lumps. Then add 3TBS of boiled water and mix using the customary chasen technique for a fine froth. Plenty of YouTube videos to teach this process. Enjoy the ritual, the taste and the calm.Also be sure to try lattes with warm oat milk and get a manual frother if you want to add it as a milky foam (no need for electric). Another fun option, if you have it, is to add 2 tsp of lavender simple syrup to about 1/2c whole milk for a yummy foam topping to an iced matcha latte (add 3/4c cold oat milk to the tea, then the foam).

Tjis is a beautiful set. Ive ised it twice and no issues. I appreciate the booklet it came with too. I was hoping there was more Green so that it was a dark teal (bluish green) but its pretty much a dark blue to me along with the tea towel that is a navy blue and would've been better if black, I know im being nit picky its just my OCD and liking my decor to match 😁 Its still beautiful but I just would've liked more of a green so it wouod look "Sea green". You can't go wrong with the set though. Makes a beautiful frothy Matcha! I use ceremonial grade Matcha 🍵 💚✨️
