Great content. My kids didn’t like it.
I purchased the Executive Functioning Workbook for my kids at the beginning of the summer to help them build their executive functioning skills. Each day, I read a chapter to them, and we would discuss it together. The book has great content and provides valuable guidance, but it just didn’t hold the attention of my 11-year-old and gifted 9-year-old. My son even commented that the term “executive functioning skills” sounded weird and intimidating. I think the title alone might turn some kids off, even though the material is very important. While it didn’t quite connect with my children, I still think it’s a well-done resource and would recommend it for families whose kids might be more open to the topic.

Great
Good book - great little exercises for kids who struggle with executive functioning. I like how it breaks it up into sections for school and home. Skews little young but was still helpful for my 6th grader.

Great resource! Easy to use!
Love this book and has so many great activities to utilize as tools for kiddos! One of my go to resources! It also makes a great gift for school counselors and therapists!

Wish we were All born with it.. like Maybelline!! 🤗
I can’t wait to make it through this book with my son, as I know it will help him greatly and me too with educating him and reparenting myself. Is that a run on sentence!? 😅

Good for littles
This is a good resource if you have very young learners, or if you are new to this concept.

Great read and lots of information for people wanting to understand and learn more about Executive Functioning issues. Along with tools to counteract EF obstacles.

This book has interesting info for parents and children. It seems to be a book you read with your children and try out the strategies as a team (to support and better understand what the ADHDer is going through) and not a ‘workbook’ that children/teenagers read and use on their own.

Workbooks aren't for kids. They aren't going to read this and diligently read/write. It may give parents/caregivers some ideas but kids aren't doing workbooks. Maybe teens will but not younger.
