I built a toolbox for a set of Gearwrench tools. I needed something to hold the wrenches in place when the box was shut and carried on edge. This foam worked perfectly. It glued into the lid with contact cement. Once I closed the lid the foam formed around the tools. There were no rattles when it was carried and the tools stayed in place so they are always organized. It cut easily, formed as expected over the tools and is very durable. Highly recommended use for any tool organizer, I will use more of it.

The media could not be loaded. i used the foam to organize my kobalt xtr drills inside one of their case stack cases. i couldnt find anything online showing kobalt and this foam being used together, so this is for all the kobalt fanatics out there. turned out great for my first time doing this. will definitely buy again. i used 2 inch foam

I ordered the 16”x12x0.5”. I got 15.5”x11.75”x0.5”. It will still work for my application and came nicely packaged and looks like a good product otherwise. Just make sure you are not looking for an exact fit because it falls short.

needed a thin pice to fit the top of my box, to keep the tools from bouncing.

I ordered this foam to store a very heavy tool in a safe box and it was easy to cut and shape and is also strong enough to keep the tool in place.

Not even true 1in foam, it’s just four pieces of 1/4in laminated together. Crazy high price for the entry level quality. Needed something quick and this at least arrived on time.

Used for strapping down heavy objects.

Easy to cut, with a knife. Cut some pieces all the through and for one shape cut only part way through removing a layer that informed to the part being stored. Did require some finesse but not that difficult.
