Mcmanus Cold Therapy Pad for Knee, Attachment for Ice Therapy Machine, Suitable for Knee, Back or Lumbar.

I’m a big guy with a big knee who just had a total knee replacement. My knee is pretty swollen and this wraps about 3/4 around which in my opinion is plenty. It came with 3 different size straps. I’m using the medium sized one which makes it around my knee once. One thing I did not know which is super nice. The Velcro on the straps can attach to the fabric on the pad itself making it easy to connect and position. The shortest strap would work too, but the medium one I can attach fully across the top of the cooling pad around my knee and fully across the bottom of the cooling pad enabling good contact with my knee. The longer strap looks like it would easily wrap around my leg twice which would provide more contact with the knee. I hope this makes sense what I’m writing. I’m tired and on pain medicine. I’m just trying to leave my gratitude for this product working out so well for me.

This thing was a post-op lifesaver — and I don’t say that lightly. When my knee was staging a full rebellion after surgery, this pad showed up like, “Don’t worry, fam. I got you.” ❄️🦸‍♂️ It stayed cold, actually fit around the knee the way a knee-shaped thing should, and didn’t slide off every 3 seconds like the sad bag-of-peas backup plan. The straps? Chef’s kiss. 👌 They held everything in place so well I could’ve done a small Olympic sport (I did not. But I could’ve). Honestly, if recovery had a “Most Valuable Player,” this pad wins. It made icing easy, comfortable, and actually effective — which is saying a lot, considering my knee was trying to start drama daily. Highly recommend for anyone going through knee surgery or pretending they’re an NFL player icing after a big game. Either way, it works.

I needed a knee pad for my Ossur machine, as I only had the shoulder pad from a previous surgery. I figured I’d take a chance on this one and hopefully save some money. Not only did I save money, but I like this way better than the Ossur pad. My biggest annoyance with the Ossur pad is the velcro straps. The ends always curl up and the velcro is difficult to pull apart in order to attach the straps. The straps on this pad are wider and easier to use. The pad connects perfectly to the connectors on my machine. There is no leakage, and it feels very cold on my knee. It also wraps around my knee easily and isn’t stiff. I’ll have to see how this holds up with regular use, but my first impression is a good one!

Awesome big size for my knee.Way bigger than other pads{i am a big fella] covers big area and cools very well. Using it for two days now apears to be of good quality . Upon startup one of the o-rings was a leaker [replaced it with one of the other adapter o rings that are includet]that is the reason for the four star rating and not a five

The availability of inexpensive therapeutic ice machines has helped knew replacement patients a great deal. Tissues around the knee swell considerably after surgery and the swelling can last for weeks. The best treatment is icing. Cooling the areas around the knew several times a day can make a difference. This attachment is just right for a knee. With the help of the provided elastic bands to insure a good, tight fit good cooling can be achieved. My machine was the least expensive of the lot because I was dubious that it would work well. The attachment it came with did not fit very well so I was pleased to find this one which is much more suitable. I would not be experiencing such success with my icing machine without this attachment. If you've had or are planning to have any knee procedure, this attachment and a suitable ice machine is absolutely essential.

This attachment fit my don joy ice man. Like a glove! I needed a bigger pad for my hip and back. This is perfect. It does t leak. It circulates the cold water amazingly. I can’t say everything that is totally amazing about this product. I found it last night on Amazon. And I wasn’t positive about getting it. After a horrible night. I decided to give it a try. I received it and had it on my hip/back within 20 minutes. I can already tell a huge difference. THANK YOU SO MUCH

After my husband‘s knee replacement surgery, we wanted a larger pad for his ice man machine that he was sent home with from the hospital. This pad works perfectly over his kneecap and extends up his thigh to cover the area where they had to move his quad muscles. It also extends down his calf slightly to help with nerve pain. Highly recommend. And would buy again.

Item is good quality and fit my cryotherapy machine well. However, I did not feel like it provided great coverage for my very swollen, postoperative knee.

The knee pad is great. Covers larger area with more open water passages. As a result, the pad reaches cooling temperature quickly and holds the temperature at a much lower pump speed (1 vs 3+) than Ossur original pad. It also comes with three wide velcro bands at THREE DIFFFERENT LENGTHS. They are generously sized for calf, knee and thigh, respectively, and hold the cooling steady with much less pressure on leg. I bought this because oem pad sprung a leak. Based on my experience, I suggest buying the McManus pad when you buy your machine. It is making recovery on 2nd knee much easier than first knee.

This fit perfectly on my ossur cold rush. I’ve been using it for about a week and has worked great. I’m using for a knee replacement the cuff is a great size and I like the Velcro straps that came with the machine.

This is a great replacement pad with velcro bans to hold it in place . We had the machine & found out at the last minute the old one leaked & was scrape we try to from the manufacturer but three weeks delivery so it was GREAT to get it before surgery

Good construction - well made. Full flow allows this to really do the job. However, the Velcro really tears up the straps. Not sure that can be solved. Surgery's coming soon. I'll let you know if anything changes. I would buy again!
