Better than brand names
Having bought brand name gloves I was expecting these to be inferior but found quite the opposite: instead of losing chunks within an hour they have lasted weeks!

Not So Cumbersome For Young Grandson- Offering Better Feel & Control
I requested these for my grandson who plays in an under 10’s team and trains in an elite goal keeping academy. The gloves came well presented in a resealable bag.Slightly strange was that the palms come with a weird polythene covering that is stitched into the seams. After removing this it makes the gloves look very untidy as bits of the plastic are still stuck to it and impossible to remove ( see picture) . I really think the manufacturers needs to rethinks this and perhaps protect them with tissue or similar. So lose a star.Anyway, he finds the gloves very comfortable. He can take them on and off himself, even though they don’t have the traditional wrist straps. They have held up well to a few weeks of training on grass and 3G surfaces. There's already a bit of wear/pitting on the palm sections (see photo) but that’s quite common as that’s usually where they rub when getting themselves off the floor . To be fair he’s been wearing them a lot at least twice a week over the last 3 weeks.I’m not sure how long they are going to last , but my grandson loves them.In summary:They are not overly cumbersome like some gloves, they're light, the palms really stick to the ball and he particularly like the elasticated cuffs , rather than having the binding cuffs with strapping. The only annoyance as mentioned is the film cover on the palm that is difficult to remove from the grooves around the palm and fingers. All in all not bad , fairly expensive for what you get (£32. 89 at the time of the review). But judging by his experience they seem to work well with younger goalies with smaller hands, giving him more “feel” and control and don’t make him feel like he has a wicket keepers gloves on both hands.

Comfortable Goalkeeper Gloves - Size 7
The gloves are individually packed and sealed, the first thing I noticed was a protective layer on the front palms and fingers that has to be removed to reveal the non-slip foam, this was a very fiddly process as the protective plastic is stitched in all the way around the fingers and the static makes it cling to your fingers! some of the foam was damaged upon removing due to the softness of the non-slip foam, I don't know if this is how the gloves are meant to be manufactured but it’s not good, removing the plastic prior to stitching would be much better. The gloves I chose are a size 7 and they are much too big for my son who's 8 with at least an 1" to spare on each finger, they actually fit my medium size hands, they are tight but fit okay. The materials used are decent and comfy but the stitching isn't great, the non-slip palm works good for absorbing impact and grips the ball well, time will tell on the longevity of these.Overall, an average pair of football gloves that could be made better with a few improvements, thank you.
