I did not have a ton of money to spend on bedding. Although I have only used comforters, I wanted to try a duvet because I tend to wash my bedding a lot. I loved the natural look of linen but found many brands to be very expensive. This was one of the cheapest brands (although it is technically cotton, not linen) with the best reviews so I took a stab and am very happy one year later. The down alternative insert I bought, which is 88x88in, fits perfectly inside. The 4 ties are very useful in keeping everything in place. I have washed the cover many times and have had no issues at all with the buttons or seems. In fact, with each wash it seems to have gotten softer and seems like it could replace a top sheet. It does tend to wrinkle easily but that is consistent with linen (plus it adds to the natural look). The shams fit perfectly on two cheap fluffy pillows. The material appears to be good quality and the gray seems thick enough to cover any non-white inserts. My dogs jump up on my bed and there have been no pulls. I could not be happier with this product, especially considering the price. Note: I have a full bed which is 10” deep. I could definitely tuck the duvet in on the sides, but there is not much extra room. I am not sure how this work on a queen or deep mattresses.
