The Noble Collection Newt Scamander's Illuminating Wand

I love this wand. It’s high quality and well worth the money.I’ve tried to buy those cheap, illuminating wands on eBay. Those have a very small light on the end. It’s very difficult to replace their batteries and it takes 6-8 weeks for them to arrive. The wand itself feels a bit fragile. And they are easily broken when dropped.This wand by Nobel is sturdy, the batteries are easy to put in and take out, and the light at the end of the wand is powerful! I felt more comfortable letting my children carry the Nobel wands because the light was clearly visable to cars and other pedestrians. The Noble wands, like this Newt Scamander wand, are made of high quality material and will last for years to come...as long as the kids don’t use them like light sabers.

I have enjoyed this wand. It comes on a bit easily but goes off on it's own if I don't notice. Lately I have been using it during power outages. It is bright enough to light my way around the house and even out to the chicken coop.

What can I say ... it is Harry Potter stuff --- works great and is fun to use when others do not know it lights ... also great as a night-light to use when walking down dark halls so I do not trip over toys.

The wand is really fun! You can even brighten or dim the tip (Lumos or Lumos Maxima). However, it activates so easily when being set down or moved at all. Would benefit from an on/off switch someplace.

I used this with my Newt cosplay at a convention. The illumination definitely helps you stand out! Everyone loved it.

This was honestly not the quality I expected. I purchased both this & the collectible reproduction wand from The Noble Collection, & the other one is miles better, with only a few dollars difference in the price. This wand is too big to be used for role-playing (it is roughly 4 times thicker than the exact reproduction wand) & is made from cheap plastic. The illuminating part is very undependable as it doesn't always come on when you wave it, but it does come on constantly when you don't want it to & you can't get it to stay off so I finally had to remove the batteries.

I got this for my grandson for Christmas. He was a very happy kid. Good quality.
