The bugs are constantly getting stuck where we either have to shake the thing, tap it, or just take it apart to get the bug out. My kid still likes it but it is so annoying because every other minute we are having to get that bug out.

Just, no. My son was excited when he got this set for his birthday. Cool shapes and glow-in-the-dark. At first the bugs couldn't crawl up and around the tubes without getting stuck. Then he and his sister got them to kind of work. And then, all this within the first 30 minutes of opening it up, it was back to not crawling up and around the tubes. What's the point? Did the company test this product? He was so disappointed that he didn't even bother to check out the glow-in-the-dark feature.My son has a friend with the older style track - without the tubes - which they have fun with. We're returning this and purchasing an older track with no tubes. Looking at other Hexbug V2 products that seem to rate pretty well can be misleading. I have since found several comments from people that rated V2 sets 3 - 5 stars with the same problem of the bugs always getting stuck. I guess they don't mind.Our recommendation: STAY AWAY FROM 'V2' SETS WITH TUBES!!
