I take a broad spectrum of supplements daily. I have a small bowl of tablets and capsules to get through. Ease of swallowing is therefore a VERY IMPORTANT FACTOR for me. I find these CAPSULES (see pic) EASY TO SWALLOW as they are not too large and not at all powdery. They are not ‘dry’ in the mouth. This is why I usually prefer capsules. In the interest of curiosity (and I’m not recommending this) I allowed one to stay in my mouth to see what would happen. It did NOT QUICKLY DISINTEGRATE. It was not unpleasant. I then chewed it up. The powder inside and the remains of the capsule dispersed quite readily. The thing is, the taste became quite unpleasant very rapidly. I’d say it’s quite nasty. Don’t get me wrong it didn’t make me retch. I didn’t even need to spit it out. I allowed my mouth to clear without recourse to washing it down with a drink. It’s not something I’d be looking to repeat on a daily basis though. There is an odour associated with these tablets. If you’re not chewing them up I doubt anyone else would ever notice though. I much prefer a plastic bottle and quite like this one. I am taking this supplement and so far I feel great. I’m not in a position to provide scientific data from my simple experiments but I’m very practised at listening to my body and mind. I’m happy to continue with this supplement. I hope these opinions and observations are helpful.

Clav is no doubt one of the best supplements in the market. However, I keep receiving dented lids on the past two purchases, I do expect minted condition when I open the parcels for such premium prices.

Not sure I'd call these 'High Strength' as CLAV do in their description, but they're a good strength and great as a daily insurance dose of essential B vitamins, plus they've added a couple of co-factors that are often found alongside B vit's in food. They're moderately large capsules and they've got that characteristic yeasty aroma that most B supplements seem to, I think because they often extract B vit's from yeast, but it's not overstrong and there's no particular taste. The B vitamins are water-soluble which means your body doesn't store them in significant quantity and so a regular daily dose is useful. I take mine with my largest meal of the day so I absorb as much as possible while my stomach is in full digestive mode. Some B vitamins also act as diuretics and I've found taking them with a meal reduces that effect. What I'm really getting at here is that if you take these on an empty stomach with a glass of water they'll pass right through without touching the sides and in a bit of a hurry, so be warned! :-)

I have been taking a Vitamin B complex for around 18 months now, I have a tickling nerve issue where these certainly seem to help improve the condition. This is described as High Strength which it is compared to many others. Although the current brand that I take is even higher, but then again that brand is more expensive. There are 10 ingredients in total, along with a vegetable based capsule. The ingredients are: Nicotinamide, calcium d-pantothenate, coating agent: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (vegetable capsule shell), calcium carbonate, myo-inositol, thiamine hydrochloride, pyridoxine hydrochloride, riboflavin, choline bitartrate, pteroylmonoglutamic acid, D-biotin, methylcobalamin. The Amazon listing claims the recommended dose is to take a single capsule every second day for optimal effect. Although the instructions on the bottle say to take a single capsule each day. Depending on the recommendation you follow there are enough capsules here to last between 4-8 months. These are easy to swallow with a glass of water, I experience no nasty taste or odour. I’ve been taking this B-complex once a day for a while now. The capsules are easy to swallow and I haven’t had any stomach problems or weird aftertaste. Energy feels a bit more stable during the day, especially when I am busy or training. The only small downside is that the print on the label is tiny, you almost need a magnifying glass to read the details. Overall a clean B-complex that does what it’s supposed to do.
