Chocolat Mat Body Lotion 6.65 oz for Women

Pleasantly surprised by this lotion. There is a lovely chocolate undertone to a soft, almost powdery scent. The pairing is surprisingly pretty and very pleasing. I like that the lotion isn’t full on bakery sweets, and the layered scent gives some nice depth and tone to the fragrance. The lotion is soft and non-greasy. Will definitely buy again.

Disgusting smell. When you sniff it out of the bottle, it smells faintly like chocolate and then on the skin- NO NO NO! It has a synthetic perfume smell reminiscent of cheap drug store perfume that lingers forever with the smallest amount. This should not be marketed as chocolate scented lotion. Gross.

In terms of the quality of the lotion, it seems average to me. It’s light; not super rich, but satisfactory. I was disappointed in the scent because I was hoping for a true chocolate experience, but instead it is more like a sweet, musky, halfway chocolate scent. After about 15 minutes it turns into a light, sweet, musky scent, which is actually quite nice, if you can give up your chocolate expectations.

I want to clarify that I have been on the search for a lotion without a super heavy scent that I wouldn't get sick of and didn't feel sticky for a very long time. I have tried nearly every lotion from bath and body works to sephora. This is the one for me! It smells very much like dark chocolate, a little bitter sweet, when you first put it on, but the smell within the next few minutes is very pleasant and definitely chocolate while not being overpowering either. It's a soft chocolate smell that lingers Forever. My husband thinks it smells amazing too and he's super picky! It's also not sticky at all, and very moisturizing. I put it on after getting out of the shower and it soaks right in with no residue. This lotion is perfect! I also ordered the parfum to match because I love how this smells so much!

To me the scent is chocolatey but doesn’t overwhelm - which is purely subjective.The lotion is not very thick but it smooths on easy and a little goes a long way. I have made my tube last for months.Unfortunately this is something that a review won’t help till you try it for yourself. I hope it works out for you.

This did have a very milky chocolate smell, although a little bit more Hershey than European chocolate if that makes sense. I wish it were a little thicker and creamier. It's a very light, liquid type of lotion.

very nice smell - a rare chocolate scented product that actually smells like chocolate - almost hate to say that I've purchased it several times, since it then may get hard to find.
