Good value for the money
Bought this to replace the remote for my Yamaha RX-V550. The remote i received (RAV254) looked different and was smaller that the original remote. Initially, I though the power button didn't work, but standby and system power button at the bottom left works for power on/off. So far all the functions that I need works with the remote so I'm satisfied.

Doesn't work.
Waiting for response from seller. Remote works for volume and input, but not to turn power on/off.

Not Compatible with Pioneer RX-V457
It worked for my RX-V540 which it is not listed for and did not work for my RX-V457 which I needed it for.

Useless device
Though the posting indicated that is would replace the OEM RAV245 it did not work. It neither switched the receiver on or off nor control any other function. It was returned.
