Gave it as a gift and the recipient LOVED it!

I gave this as a gift, and in the cellophane wrapper the book book looked fine. However, as soon as it was unwrapped, the pages became noticeably wavy, clearly visible when sitting on a coffee table when closed. When viewing pages individually the waveness is not so noticable, but for $125 you will be disappointed if your intention is to have it on display.

Ouvrage lourd, de grande dimension (30 x 38 cm), parfaitement relié, réalisé avec un papier couché de qualité. Il se présente comme un medley photographique dédié au nu. La sélection m'a agréablement surpris : de nombreux styles photographiques sont représentés, avec à chaque fois, des images d'une grande qualité tant technique qu'artistique.Ce très beau livre ravira les passionnés d'art, les amoureux de la plastique féminine, et, bien entendu, les photographes et clubs photo spécialisés dans le nu artistique.

I have all of Rankin's photography books and this is hands down his best book by far, the images within are exceptional, the book is crammed full of his more explicit 18+ work, where I think he is presents his most talent as a photographer. If you are looking for a masterclass in presenting modern fashion and the female form, this is a no brainer, get the book, you will not be disappointed!

Très très déçu… quelques belles photos…mais bien en dessous de ce que proposent des photographes comme Frank De Mulder, Vincent Peters, David Hamilton, ou même Stefan Rappo… Rankin n’a pas le niveau artistique : composition, lumières, etc… J’ai tourné les pages comme un vulgaire catalogue de lingerie féminine, mon œil n’a pas été particulièrement marqué par un cliché… Pas d’émotions…Je ne recommande pas, très déçu de cet artiste.

Das Bildband ist sehr gut verarbeitet und wirkt sehr wertig. Allein wegen seiner Größe wirkt er sehr "massig", was mir sehr gut gefällt.Die Bilder sind größtenteils stilvoll und sehr schön anzusehen
