Saints Row Day 1 Edition - PlayStation 4

Let me start by saying as on of the few people who seemingly PLAYED the game, its ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!This new entry in the saints row series reboots everything, new characters, city and missions! Because of this id definitely ssy the characters are so relatable thier issues come off as real problems.The bad guys feel like real world bad guys and as a action packed game we get to take them on and explore this new city with a crisp arid landscape plus a busy city.If you may of noticed this game is receiving a lot of hate due to the fact that the "box character" is a black female, a friendly character in the game is bi and there are pride flags in several areas as well as some old running jokes of sexual references being removed.A lot of that had is just wrong cause why cant a black female be on the cover? You dont have to play as her if you dont want to. You have the freedom to be your own boss, just like before when someone wanted to play as a female/black character and saw a white guy on the cover. Kind of irrelevant. Also character cant have a sexual preference? Back in older saints our character was forced to have female strippers in scenes and such even if we didnt feel comfortable being exposed to that. But a bi male is too much?In conclusion a lot of the "issues" with this game feel politically motivated instead of actual issues. Its sad that politics can now decide if a game is good or bad but thats just the way it is now.Reviewers aside this game is a huge step in the future with customization, tons of side stuff as well as the STRONGEST story this series has EVER seen imo.I cant recommend this game anymore then my lungs can allow but everyone has their own interests!

I saw 👀 on Amazon so I though why not then and it looks like a fun game then and I saw other people and twitch streamer play it to and it is a fun game to play then

I can’t believe this is what I anticipated for! No online open world play, no cheats and from what it looks like so far no car or clothing customization unless i still have to unlock it by playing. I’m only about 3 missions in so maybe have to unlock customizations but NO! Just NO! They took a good game and utterly destroyed it. I thought i could have at least looked forward to things that the older ones didn’t have such as an open world online play feature but it’s missing a whole lot of other simple cool things that could have and should have been included so an online open world gameplay feature is just way out in left field, so far beyond its just…pft…GTA still kicks butt in overall gameplay experience. However, the clothes, the way characters look and stuff is still better than GTA 5’s. So at least that’s on the up and up. The music in this game sucks, the cars are ugly this whole game is just weak! The older games even with all of their glitches and glitching are still the BEST of the SR franchise! Just NO! For the reboot! I wish my husband had of rented me this game for my birthday 1st than bought it. It’s not worth not even $20!Update: Played more and yeah you have to unlock everything as you do missions. I think i do like this game after-all. As you play, cars get better, clothing stores get better but the music idk if that gets better or not but music does suck. So, anyway I’m changing from 2 stars to 4. Not 5 because there’s no cheats. I LOVE the new car customization options, very extensive for that but not really so much for characters. The weapon customization is pretty good too. Still not worth the price for it though. It’s better than those dialogue interactive storyline so called games, as if they were actually games when they really aren’t.Apparently, the reboot concept is this game seems like it’s just the first installment to a new Saints Row video game franchise. I look forward to any others that come after this one. Hopefully, they will throw in some online open world play in the future. The older games are still my most favorite though.

I'll start by saying I've never played the other Saints Row games. This was my introduction to the series. I thought it was a good game and story but I ran into a problem.After beating the main story and completing all the criminal ventures, there isn't much to do except try to get all the collectibles scattered throughout the world. Even THAT feels like a chore because you only get vague hints as to where they are. Enemies become few to nonexistent and they rarely if ever fight your character in the scales seen throughout the game.Overall fun to play. Wish there was more to do after the main story.

This game is a lot of fun to play. Third person shooter with lots of driving, flying and assorted other things. Some of the missions are pretty radical. For the most part they let you play without closing missions etc. And you get to make up your character male/female, features, clothes etc. Graphics are pretty good as well.

A new splash of paint and it's still a good Saints Row game. A little different than what fans were used to from Saints Row 3 and 4. The whackyness is no longer there and it is more realistic like Grand Theft Auto. But the gameplay is still very awesome. Lots of customization for everything from clothes to guns to cars. Combat is also different from other Saints Row, but it's good.

I don't know why this game gets so much hate. It's definitely a Saints Row game. It falls somewhere between SR2 and SR3 in terms of wackiness- which is probably appropriate for a 2020's SR game. There are some minor bugs but they never bothered me while playing. However, this was my least favourite SR: the story wasn't as good as the previous games and the new crew can't compare to Gat, Shaundi and company. The previous games were just overall better, IMO. It would have been nice to see the old crew again but at the end of the day, it's still Saints Row. If you enjoyed the previous SR games, this will be comfort food for you. And with no new GTA since the ps3/xbox, this does fill a need.

Vraiment pas le meilleur jeux de la Serie de Jeux Sts Row Enfait cest un Reboot Il est tjr aussi déjanté mais acheté plustot le 3 et ou le 4 refait en HD vous aurez ben plus de fun (Si vous passez par dessus le fait que le.jeux ri de tout) :)

I've played every saints row now. The 2nd and 3rd were the best. The series really died in 4 and this garbage is the dirt dumped on the coffin.Everything is either recycled or stolen from better games. Game play is repetitive and agonizing as opposed to fun.Every mission is either kill everyone or dodge cars while trying to drive a crappy vehicle over a painfully long distance.Or...even worse...drive an obnoxious long way in a hellish short time frame and do something pointless.I don't care if all the main characters die, in fact I'd kill them myself they are so annoying.Its lazy, it's repetitive, its outright S***!!!!I play video games to have fun. This is not fun. This is a boring grind.I don't want to search for 15 things to randomly photograph. I don't want to drive 17 trucks worth of nuclear waste as fast as possible so the toxic waste explodes. I don't want to stealb15 cars while going or cops try to stop me.Why???? Its NOT FUN TO DO ANY OF THAT THAT MANY TIMES.3 photos...ok...1 or 2 toxic waste trucks...ok...it gets old fast....very very fast.I'll take it out of my console and likely never put it back in.I'll be surprised if this doesn't end the franchise. It sucks.

Except for some camera glitches this is a great game if you're a fan of 3rd person action adventure games. There are lots to keep you occupied in this game. Great nonlinear action adventure shooter game.
