Separate the slide form the frame according to your Glock manual. 2. Take out your Glock Gen 4 recoil spring assembly. 3. Slide this Glock adapter ring into the slide hole with the small end facing forward. 4. Use the standard installation procedures to install the Gen 3 recoil spring assembly to the Gen 4 slide. 5. Reinstall the slide back to the frame. 6. Test fire your Glock with the types of ammunition that you are using and making sure it functions as expected.
