Great product
Put this down in fall and spring green up and weed control looks good. The only brand I use

glorified synthetic Nitrogen fertilizer
It's a synthetic nitrogen fertilizer. It helped make my existing grass grow faster but didn't help with patches or newly seeded areas.

Questionable effectiveness
I am ambivalent about giving this anything more than a 3-star rating because ever since I began using this product a few years ago, I have noticed more and more dandelion growth in ONLY the areas I have used it.
