Ordered this for my 88 year old mother as she was having trouble getting on and off the loo even though she is only short.She insisted on one with a lid and I suggested one with handle.Very easy to fit and she is very happy withThe handles have a choice of 2 sideways positions but no height adjustments.Fixing handles that screw up grip well but need strong hands to tighten up/undoVery happy with the product, and would recommend.

Bought for my husband’s Nan after she hurt her ankle and struggled to get off the toilet without help. The seat was relatively easy to install, however we noticed that the tighter you did the screws at the side, the seat wanted to slide back out of place due to the shape of the toilet bowl itself. It took a few tries to get it into the perfect position but we got there in the end.As stated in some of the other reviews, unless weight is evenly distributed on both handles, the hole seat can move which isn’t the safest when being used by an unstable 89 year old woman. The other issue is that there are only 2 width settings for the handles, neither of which are particularly wide which makes it difficult if you are on the heavier side or if you have wide hips!Luckily this seat is only a temporary thing for now, as won’t be needed when her ankle heals, however if we were looking for something more long term then perhaps the addition of front fasteners/ screws would help, or some adjustable legs to help with stability, as well as wider handles would be ideal. The next day delivery was a fantastic bonus considering we needed the seat quickly.

Really good product. I was a bit concerned at first that it wasn't sturdy enough as there's a bit of wobble on the arms. But it stood the test of time while we needed it, bearing probably 8-9 stone in weight, and was easy to assemble. An absolute godsend!

It is true that it’s easily assembled and installed.However, the moment I returned home from a hip replacement and actually needed to use the handles it slipped off immediately and is actually dangerous.I tried the installation a second time and again, the same thing happened.I have a standard lavatory but the plastic screws at the side simply do not grip the porcelain firmly enough.Complete waste of money.

No complaints about the toilet seat but I have only had mine 4 months and the hinges on the toilet seat one has broken and would appreciate some advice how to repair it

This is fantastic. Fits my D shape toilet no issues. I will follow advice where it says use both handles it does feel very secure doing this. My old frame raiser version contributed to falls most recently breaking my foot because of it, so this has been a life saver where I can't weight bare.
