If you have a LUMIX G7 then this is for you
This fit perfectly for the LUMIX G7. I love how it has a bottom contact and also locks into the hot shoe. It is very solid and the many mounting points are going to really come in handy.I also got a top handle which mounts seamlessly with the cage.

Came very well Packaged
Fits my Panasonic g7 perfectly, feels very nice on the hand, I like how I can relocate the mic on the corner, and have another for a light. Also gives it a Professional look to it. Simple and useful.

Fits amazing and sturdy
Bought this for my g7 and it fit just as advertised, very sturdy, and well made. As of now I have no issues but, if any arise then I will update the review, fingers crossed

Almost fits the G7 perfectly
The SMALLRIG Camera Cage for Panasonic Lumix G7 with HDMI Cable Clamp - 1779 is definitely well built and almost fits the G7 perfectly. I was unable to use the camera’s HDMI port until I dismounted the camera from the cage, folded back the port cover between the camera and the cage and reinstalled the camera. Other than that design flaw I’m quite impressed with the cage.

I love this rig
I love this rig. Looks great and works great too. The G7 is all plastic and feels a little on the weak side. This is what I needed to feel better about running around with it on shoots. With a handle it's perfect. Lots of mounting points and sturdy. Great little rig.

Rugged Camera Cage with Many Attachment Options
This camera cage is a perfect fit for my Lumix G7. It attaches securely at 2 points. It is a comfort to have the extra protection for my camera. It gives you so many options for attaching limitless accessories such as external battery packs, microphones, etc.

Don’t leave home without it.
I love this camera cage. I bought it for filming with my G7, but it pretty much stays on my camera all the time now. I like that it adds some weight and protection to the camera. Plenty of places to attach additional gear.

Solid construction, multiple attachment points, access to ram/battery
I really like this cage. Is is solidly constructed and attaches my camera at the top and the bottom. Very sturdy. I tried another cage earlier that just used a 1/4 thread mount at the bottom and it was nowhere near as solid. I also like the fact that this rig lets me get to memory and battery without unmounting it.
