This was a surprise when it came in the mail! I really only purchased it for the pen - not the nibs (which I already owned). And based on the price, I was expecting something on the 'cheaper' side of things, but was very pleasantly surprised! Great weight, the feathers are stunning (and entertaining) and the nibs are good (I am not an quill expert - just a layman). The ink is also very good quality based on my knowledge. Overall it's more ornate than I thought it would be, but it doesn't distract from it's usefulness. I highly recommend this purchase!

Beautiful and all of the extra nibs make this excellent for a personal touch type of gift. It's easy to use and exchange nibs. The presence and balance in use are perfection.

The feather and the pen look amazing inside the fabric base inside the box. Presentation is better than expected. This would be a perfect gift and anyone opening this box would appreciate it.
