Foot Care Adult Fibreglass Slimline Cast Boot Square-Toe (Black , Medium)

This boot is the second one I ordered but I got the size right this time. I like the fit. The sole is firm enough so my toes don't bend. I have a fragile bone disease and walking on rough ground or just overdoing it breaks my toes and also can injure my ankles. I like the ankle straps support. The boot will fit either foot and the straps over the front can be reversed for the other foot. There was a great choice at Amazon and I'm glad I got the particular one that benefits my problem.

SPRAINED MY ANKLE BAD. DOCTOR ISSUED CRUTCHES, BUT I WAS DETERMINED TO WALK THE NEXT DAY, BUT IT TOOK 2 DAYS. I ORDERED THIS BOOT JUST SO I COULD HAVE SUPPORT. SEEN THE BAD REVIEWS AND WAS LIKE IT COULDN'T BE THAT BAD. AND I WAS RIGHT. NOT BAD AT ALL. I WILL RECOMMEND.

Used for my “indoor” boot after foot and ankle surgery. It’s adjustable and works perfect. I had to cut the top two Velcro straps shorter because they were very long on me. I wear a women’s 7.5/8 and it fit perfect even with dressings on my foot. I purchased size M for reference

I couldn’t wear my other heavy hard boot as it was too painful for me to wear on my broken ankle. This boot is so light, soft and comfortable. If you’re looking for something hard, super stable this is not it but if you’re just looking for some added protection for your extremely tender, swollen, painful broken foot or ankle this is definitely for you. I honestly don’t know how people can wear anything but this boot when you first break a bone. You need something light and soft like this while hobbling around on crutches the first few weeks. My cast covers my toe so cast fits at the edge of shoe. Medium size accurately fits my 8.5-9 women’s size with a cast (I found sizes on the product’s website, not on Amazon site). The velcro straps are removable to accommodate the width of the cast. The 2 straps around the ankle area aren’t removable but are long enough to go around. I’ve read reviews that report no stability for ankle when worn but this product is a Cast boot so should be used when in a cast. I am allowed to bear weight so this is good to bear weight for standing and pivoting for transfers, small steps while using a walker or crutch with good non-slip bottom. This cast shoe is much easier to velcro and put on than the very light postop surgical shoe with 2 flimsy straps that have to be looped in (hard to loop in without help; not impossible, but hard). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
