I’m absolutely in love with the LuoCoCo Egg Separator! Not only is it the cutest kitchen gadget I’ve ever owned, but it’s also incredibly functional. Separating egg whites has always been a bit tricky and messy for me, but this little guy makes it so easy and fun. The yolks stay perfectly inside while the whites pour out smoothly—no more broken yolks!! The design is so charming that it makes me smile every time I use it, and the quality of the ceramic feels sturdy and durable. Plus, it’s dishwasher safe, which is a huge bonus for easy clean-up. If you love cooking or baking, or even if you just appreciate cute and clever kitchen tools, this egg separator is a must-have. It’s not just practical; it adds a bit of joy to your kitchen routine. Highly recommend—trust me, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it!

I mainly picked this up because the design is hilarious. Watching an egg separator shaped like a chicken “vomit” egg whites into a bowl is the kind of ridiculous kitchen gadget energy I can appreciate. 😄 As far as functionality goes, it actually works reasonably well, but I did notice it struggles a little more with very fresh farm eggs compared to standard store-bought eggs. The issue honestly isn’t the separator itself so much as the eggs. Our free-range farm eggs tend to have thicker whites and stronger yolks, so the separation process is slower and sometimes doesn’t flow through as easily as thinner commercial eggs would. With regular grocery store eggs, I suspect this thing would probably work much more smoothly and quickly. With fresh high-quality eggs, it still works, just not quite as effortlessly as some videos make it look. The ceramic itself feels solid and well-made, and cleanup has been easy so far. It’s also one of those kitchen gadgets that instantly gets comments or laughs from people when they see it sitting on the counter. Overall, this is a fun little novelty kitchen tool that actually does function, just keep in mind that super fresh farm eggs may behave differently than thinner store-bought eggs during separation.

PROS: - Serrated edge makes it very easy to crack eggs - Spout lets you pour whites from yolk - Good build quality. Made of strong ceramic. Will only break or chip if you drop it. - The reason you bought this: cute and aesthetic CONS: - If you try to crack multiple eggs, the yolks will block the spout and you will not be able to pour the whites out AT ALL. Do not make this mistake (It gets messy...) - It can not hold too much whites. It will start leaking from the top when you tilt it to pour. See 1) - The design and colors are lackluster. Cuteness factor wears off quick because of this poor attention to detail.

I feel the need to separate some eggs right now! This is the cutest egg separator I have ever seen! It is so cute, I think it would make a darling pot for a small succulent (with a small piece of yellow paper covering the “beak” soon as I write this review, I am ordering a second one just for that

This is so cute and works really well. My suggestion is to be careful not to break the yolk when cracking the egg. It won’t separate.

Cute way to separate the yolk. The chick, even though I call it a little duck, has a cute face. I really like the size of it, as it doesn't occupy a lot of space in my cabinets. It is not only cute but functional. Using it saves me time and mess. It is easy to wash by hand. I haven't tried washing it in the dishwasher yet.
