These tools are easy to use and easy to clean. So far I used them on watermelon, mango, pineapple, strawberries & apples with no issues.

Tools other than melon baller good
I bought this primarily for the melon baller and it's actually least favorite part. It spins around making use difficult. I also haven't tried the apple core tool yet, but it seemed small when I unpacked.
