Perfect slow cooker
Love this! I had an older crockpot with a heavy ceramic insert. Not only is this one updated, but it’s so much lighter to handle and easier to clean. It works beautifully. I am absolutely happy I purchased it. The white is really nice if you have a white kitchen! Very easy to control. I’ve already used it several times and the meals come out perfect

Perfect slow cooker
Excellent. Just what I needed. I relied on the previous reviews, and they were a very accurate description of this item.It is lightweight - I would have preferred cast iron but I can’t carry it. Easy to operate, with enough options to do what I need. So far every meal has been perfectly cooked with just the minimum of preparation. Easy to clean. Lastly, it looks good in my kitchen.

The best light weight, easy to use & clean slow cooker.
This Greenlife Slow Cooker is the best one I've ever owned and used. It's light weight, a nice size and works well. It's very easy to use. Clean up is the best as nothing sticks to the interior insert. It's reasonably priced and I would definitely purchase it again. Summer meals are a breeze to slow cook and the kitchen doesn't heat up. A win win kitchen appliance.

Light weight
I love this slow cooker. This is so light weight. With my arthritic hands it is very easy to carry and clean the pot. Thank you for making such a nice product!

Good lightweight slow cooker
I've only used it twice, but i love it already. Took off one star bc the cord is not very long. Love that i can set it for the time i want vs your typical 4,6,8,10 options. They delay timer is an added bonus. Threw a roast in first, thinking it would be the easiest to judge. used the delay for 30 minutes, set my time for 7 hrs and off to work i went. My husband was able to enjoy dinner before he went to bed, and i had my portion when i got home from work. Not over cooked, not dry. The keep warm function turned on so it was kept warm till i got home.Second cook was Chili. Threw everything in the pot, set my timer and went about our saturday business. when we were ready for dinner the chili was ready, not over cooked, the top wasn't dried to the sides.Cleanup- what a breeze. rinsed almost clean just under the sink. lower rack dishwasher, no heat dry. I have the crock liners but i wanted to test clean up.LIGHTWEIGHT! I can finally empty the crock pot by myself. No assistance needed for that leftover broth to be poured out to the tupperware.Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase. My only change would be the cord, it limits me to one counter top use because of the length.

The GreenLife slow cooker is priced right and works well.
As a foodie, I have a wide array of tools in my arsenal, from sous vide machines and BBQ grills to pizza-making equipment and baking gear. However, one item I had never owned until now was a slow cooker. After reading hundreds of product reviews, I decided the GreenLife slow cooker seemed like the right choice for the price and its features. Despite this, I had some concerns about issues mentioned in reviews, such as chemical smells, heating performance, and durability over time.I take all reviews with a grain of salt, as everyone should, and decided to give this unit a try. The slow cooker arrived quickly and was well-packaged. One thing that immediately stood out was how lightweight it was—a pleasant surprise. Before using it for cooking, I conducted a series of tests to evaluate its heating performance at all three temperature settings: low, medium, and high. Here's what I found:Test on Low Setting:I cleaned the unit with soap and water, then filled it with 4 quarts of 70-degree water (measured with a digital thermometer). After running the slow cooker on low for 4 hours, the water reached a final temperature of 175 degrees.During this initial test, the unit emitted a noticeable chemical smell, which was a bit concerning.Test on Medium Setting:I repeated the process with fresh 70-degree water and set the cooker to medium for 4 hours. The final temperature reached 209 degrees, and the chemical smell had mostly dissipated by this point.Test on High Setting:Once again, I started with fresh 70-degree water and set the cooker to high for 4 hours. The water temperature reached 219 degrees, and the chemical smell was completely gone by the end of this test.Additional observations:The exterior of the unit never exceeded 170 degrees, which is an important safety feature. The bottom of the unit stayed below 100 degrees, indicating efficient insulation.Several people mentioned they were worried about the two screws on the bottom that could scratch your countertop. On a level countertop, neither screw will cause a problem, but if you are concerned, place the slow cooker on a cutting board.Based on my tests, I plan to do most of my slow cooking on the medium setting. This setting seems to heat food out of the danger zone (40–140 degrees) more quickly, which is important for food safety.Today, I’m putting the GreenLife slow cooker to work by making a 15-bean soup, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase. It’s affordable, functional, and has exceeded my expectations so far.
