When i first opened the package i thought for sure I'd be returning them. But i decided to at least give them a try first. They look ridiculous! lol. but i gotta say, they get the job done very well! As long as you don't have to do detailed stuff (because the fingers are very big and thick, too big to fit my actual hands) these will keep you dry and safe from high temperatures. I use them at work, to do dishes in very hot water, and chemical cleaning. they protect your hands and your arms. They go all the way up to the arm pit, and the elastic is kinda tight at the armpit; but not enough to be a genuine nuisance or concern. Once you break them in, they are a solid solution. I'm glad i gave this product a chance, because now i use these gloves all the time at work!Update:They're great for doing dishes and such; but they did eventually give me heat rash on my arms, when using them in high temperatures. This is due to the elastic at the top that kinda "seals" the gloves, and so I'm not using them as much now... But i can see how this would be useful in other cleaning situations. I still will leave my rating the same; because they do work great - just not the best option for me, in some situations.

I bought these for my mom who is a deli clerk and makes alot of rotisserie chickens along with the mess that they bring. Her arms are fully protected and they are comfortable and maneuverable. She had multiple run-ins with skin irritation from the mess of the chicken prep but no more.

I needed these to get elbow deep into a septic drain line. Worked fine. Were durable enough for that. Felt like there was leaks, but after removal it must have been mental LOL. They DID NOT leak.

Ordered to clean the algae in my fishtank. I love the coverage, durability, and quality. Fit was good a little tight up on the arm part but not bad. Gloves are very flexible and has really good grip

Gloves work great for cleaning out areas that you need or want some extra coverage. I have large hands so, despite the other reviews, I had no issues with dexterity. I would definitely recommend these.

I had to reach down up to my elbows into a pond pump housing to pull out the pump, and the water was barely above freezing. Putting your arms into water this cold is excruciatingly painful, but these gloves saved the day! They are thick enough that it made the task completely painless, and I still had plenty of dexterity in my fingers to get the job done. They may be made for dealing with haz-mat or chemical situations, but they also work extremely well insulating your hands and arms from cold water… at least for fairly short periods of time. Well worth the cost!
