High quality.
Great lock. Impressed with how heavy built it is. Very smooth, came it perfect condition. Replaced a kwikset deadbolt, the weight difference is really telling. This is a high quality deadbolt, not cheap big box store junk.

Very Secure Door Cynlinder Lock
This is a excellent apt door lock. It's best to have a locksmith or person with experience to install since installation requires many steps.

Nice addition for your home security
It was quite easy to install this unit, took me less than 10min. looks a lot more durable than previously installed $10ish dead bolt lock on my front door. Would like to recommend for anyone who is looking for additional security in your home.

Very well made lock
The lock is very solid weighs about like 4 regular bolt locks combined I like the key . Makes it much more difficult for average person to pick or bump. I feel much more protection than what I did with old lock.Good price good service great product

A Bargain Premium-class Deadbolt
If you're thinking $5-15 deadbolts are, at best, better than no deadbolt at all, you're correct. If you're not thinking that, you stand to be corrected.Your only online or local hardware/big-box store choice is a step up to the $35-40 price point. The Kwikset 980 is demonstrably bump and pick proof but armored just beyond slightly effective. (Since 2016, their Advanced Smartkey locks can no longer be opened with force tools.) The Schlage B60 is heavily armored but is easily bumped with a $5 key; their SC1 5-pin cylinder is pathetically obsolete. The next step up is to high-security deadbolts that run $150-200 for "light commercial" products. Real ones go for $300-400.Except for the lone wolf in the pack: The affordable Mul-T-Lock MD1 and MD2, the Cronus single and double cylinder. It's built like a tank and fitted with high security cylinders and keys having telescopic pin-within-pins, multiple shear lines and bitting. And that's just for starters.Sold here is the Junior with the five chamber 008J platform normally marketed as the 008 (was 006), known as the Classic."Junior" is just the name for Mul-T-Lock's retail marketing program for several general purpose items from their 100's of otherwise specialized products. Among the Juniors are padlocks, plugs/cylinders, a lockset and the Cronus. The "not-Junior" products are fitted with the big-bucks ClassicPro (x86x), Interactive (206SP) or MT5+ (616B) platforms or even bigger-buck platforms. There is nothing junior about the Junior Cronus and its 008J.NOTE: The drawing and illustration images I've pulled from Mul-T-Lock docs shows two side cuts on the 006/008 key. The 008J key has a third side cut which runs through the area used in the more advanced platforms. One might presume this is to prevent locksmiths from buying blanks under the Junior program price points and cutting premium keys on the cheap. The images nonetheless present accurately the Classic lock/tumbler technology in the Junior Cronus.Concerning the bad guy standing at your home's door, you should Google "ansi grade 1 vs 2" to understand it's irrelevant in this discussion. Fully Grade 2, this Cronus is a good leap beyond any $15-40 marginally Grade 1 deadbolts you'll buy online or at the local hardware or big-box store.Your neighborhood store won't have Mul-T-Lock key blanks and cutting machines. See the Mul-T-Lock website for the local locksmiths, if any, where you live and you'll need to show your duplication authentication card. Don't throw it out with the packaging!Slsupply can provide more (now or later) than the three keys included with the Junior Cronus but not as Prime or Fulfilled by Amazon. As well, they filled my order for two locks and six keys, all keyed alike. Message them for ordering instructions.Mul-T-Lock's scale up product is their Grade 1 Hercular (HD1, HD2, HDC). If you can afford it (and you'd unlikely be here if you could), only some bragging rights is what you'll get for your cost effective and practical home owner needs vs the Cronus.I've combined a Cronus deadbolt with a Kwikset SmartKey lever on each of my outward opening steel security doors. Getting past this will require determined and appreciable destruction - a necessity when filing a breaking and entering claim with the insurance company.

More security and added deterrent in an affordable lock.
This lock is much more secure than the fancy keypad lock we had that was not only easy to pick or bump, its chunky design made it easy to wrench off the door. I was home one day just a month ago when I heard someone messing with my front door lock and realized later after watching a YouTube video on Ring attempted break-ins, this intruder was using a bump key. Bump keys rely on cylinders that drop when they hit it with something like a small hammer or tool. Our old lock was easily bumped and it's predecessor of the same design had been broken, possibly by the burglar who stole some jewelry a couple of years back who had essentially wrenched the lock loose with either a screwdriver or small crow bar. This lock is heavy duty and without any light weight or loose covers. It looks like it will be difficult to get a screwdriver underneath it. It only takes a second or two to bump most of the locks on the residential market. This key is a bump & pick proof key - it has a square exterior with the key mechanism inside. So I think it would be extremely hard to bump. The keys have to be ordered online from the manufacturers website in our area. It's doubtful a burglar would be dragging around a bump key for this particular lock as it is not very common. As burglars are looking for an easy and quick way in, once they realize this lock is remotely more difficult, they will hopefully move along.

Superior deadbolt, all good on all fronts.
Love this highly unpickable deadbolt. Easy to install, sturdy, quality craftsmanship, although I wish it was $25. cheaper.

Excellent quality 3 keys included
I saw a lot of reviews about this not including 3 keys so I was surprised to get the 3 keys and everything included was perfect but I was surprised and a bit disappointed that it was for a larger bore hole than my average knob I had so I had to enlarge mine but it was not complicated and I didn’t need to order anything to make the adjustment
