Whole Cardamom Pods Tin

Who knew cardamom came from a pod like this? I know now. When making my first (of what will be many) cranberry chutneys, I wanted to use as many "pure" spices as I could. I learned in my research that many Indian cooks "roast" their spices in a dry frying pan before using them. I did this, and every spice just blossomed with amazing aromas. After roasting these, I put them in a grinder and added them to my chutney. Wonderful.

I crush a pod and add to my morning coffee. It's a good way to start the day. These cardamom pods are green and fresh. Recommend!

I never noticed how great smelling these are until I ordered it for someone else and they had me try it it is good for you there's a lot of health benefits to it you can even take the pods and throw it into a rice and it has a great smell to it

I had no previous experience with cardamom pods. They were called for in a recipe for a dressing for fruit salad and the dressing was delicious. So, I guess these pods were just fine. I’m giving them 4 stars because nothing is perfect.

A bargain for something I would rarely buy. Doubt if I can find it easily locally.

Love to experiment with herbs/spices. Bought just so I could try some recipes with them. They smell awesome & fantastic price compared to others.

I add while boiling my tea. Nice flavor.
