This dictionary is entirely in English script and arranged alphabetically A-Z. Good word selection.

Excellent basic dictionary. Still need the Monier Williams version for in depth definitions

Apart from minor navigation problems the book is a major resource of depth and veracity. I definitely recommend it to all Sanskrit students.

I find this to be an excellent Sanskrit-English dictionary, very comprehensive, clearly set out and easy to use as Sanskrit words are transliterated into English script for correct pronunciation and are listed in English alphabetical order. Roots of words and references to the Sanskrit-English dictionary by Monier Williams are also provided, very useful indeed for Sanskrit students.I have a couple of other Sanskrit dictionaries and also use on-line Sanskrit dictionaries from time to time, as required. I strongly recommend this dictionary as the most convenient of all and a pleasure to use.

This is a great dictionary. Easy to refer to. The coverage of vocabulary is great too.
