I tried other back braces and honestly this one is truly the best. It is a bit expensive but worth every penny. It helps keep your back straight without restricting you to death. I love the ice / heat pack. It works perfectly. I also love the handles that help to put on and adjust the brace. Some people mentioned it being hard to put on solo. I found it easy looking in a mirror. Some also mentioned it being heavy. I say no such thing unless maybe a little when you have the ice/heat pack on but your not going to be running a marathon anyway. This back brace is fantastic. It has made my back feel so much better. It has helped me to be more mobile when I otherwise would not.

This brace is great. Very comfortable, and I can put it in and take it off by myself. I broke my back a month ago and was in a very uncomfortable brace for full immobilization. This is an excellent second step brace to prevent bending of the spine and encourage continued healing.

I purchased this for my 70 year old mother, she’s been using it for a week now and it’s helped her tremendously. It helps her keep a better posture which alleviates back pain, and other issues.

This is a fantastic back brace especially for those of us who might have a bit more belly rolls than we care to admit. Most back braces only have about a 4" thin band that goes across one's belly and when you sit, it rolls up around one's waist and is quite uncomfortable. This back brace is brilliant in its design as it has a front panel that will not roll at all. I love it. It may look difficult to put on but it really isn't if you use the hand holds on that first set of straps that get attached to the front piece. Really well designed. As for fit, if you happen to fall close the a size between two sizes, err on getting the smaller size would be my recommendation. The velcro for the top set of straps won't be far enough to pull the back brace to a firm enough hold if you buy a size a bit too large for you. I wish I had gotten the smaller size than the one I bought due to this fact. As for the ice/heat pack, I attempted to use the gel pack by freezing it. It isn't a very thick gel back and between the material that is on the back brace and my shirt, I'm not sure much coldness actually reached my back before the gel pack became unfrozen. BUT I've only tried it during a huge heat wave where the inside of my house got up to 92 degrees! So ice melted way too fast. The gel pack also tends to stick the hard plastic inside the case so removing it can be a bit tricky. You need to slide your hand down to unstick it from the plastic plate. Overall, I love this back braces design. It really helped me during my recent back injury. I'm a fairly quick healer when it comes to my back injuries, but having a back brace during those crucial first couple of days is so important or I just keep tweaking my back and prolonging its recovery. It is very comfortable to wear!! Highly recommend it!

Not a bad product but I had to return it after I tried it on and I couldn’t breathe. There is no way I would even keep this product as it didn’t allow me to breathe normally. When you stand straight up with your posture up, your lungs can breathe better because you’re not slouching. I was so super excited to own it, keep it and love it but there is another product they have and it costs $229 I believe and I tried that on decades ago and my friend got hit by a Jet Ski and he was air lifted to the Emergency room at John Muir about 25 years ago and he wore this brace and it is worth every penny for sure. He told me to try it on but he said you must wear it for half an hour and after 30 minutes I can take it off but I had to promise not to take it off. I like it from the minute I tried it on. Then he came over to me and said can I have my back brace please? I took it off to hand it over to him and my back was already used to the brace and he laughed and said you want to keep it on don’t you? I was like uh yeah, it worked so well I don’t know how lazy my back muscles got so lazy or used to something just after 30 minutes of continuous use? Anyway, I will buy this soon as I get a refund on this one and it’s too bad because it looks good in pictures but it doesn’t work at all in my case anyways. Maybe someone in the UFC that’s tall can use it.

Too big and not easy to get on

I've had chronic back pain for over eight years now - at least 2-3 times a year, I wind up bedridden for a week with a slipped disc in my lower back. In that time I've tried many different braces, but I'm very glad I stumbled on this one recently. PROS- Both the padding and the support pieces in this brace are excellent, it's far more comfortable than the cheaper braces. Where this one truly shines, however, is the molded support frame that contours the lower back. It's breathable, extremely adjustable, comfortable as a pillow, and supports all the right spots. I've loved it any time I'm feeling sore. It also includes an ice pack inside a pouch in the brace so you can help reduce inflammation. CONS- This is a good deal more expensive than something you could pick up quick at CVS, but you pay for what you get. The biggest issue I've noticed with it is that it tends to ride up if you're sitting back against a hard surface. I wear my braces preventatively most often, and if I'm trying to do a lot of work, or I'm riding my lawn mower, I do have to tug it back down a couple inches every now and then. OVERALL- I'm very pleased with this brace, and I'm hopeful that it helps keep me pain free a little more often than I've been. It is extremely comfortable, supportive, and adjustable.
