The bottom of this pot is NOT magnetic. It’s probably 304 stainless, which is good for cooking, but isn’t magnetic. They did not add an induction layer in production.While a magnet will stick lightly to the *side* of the pot, it will not stick on the bottom.

Very disappointed, knob and other parts missing. Tried contacting wincook and genrice the manufacturer and third party seller. Both sites are down.

Unit caught fire and emitted toxic smoke in the house. Lost my phone and pictures. Took a week to clear the smoke.

I'm very pleased with this. It arrived in perfect condition and seems sturdy enough to me. My food came out great! Do note the thermometer is in Celsius, though.Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the top is a little tricky to get clean (I was very glad it's dishwasher safe, though), and the instruction booklet is in Chinese.

I love this little fryer pot. I have an outdoor burner on my back porch. I can now not only make my lumpia (Filipino egg rolls) outside and save the inside kitchen from the frying smell but also have something to hold the oil in afterward. It’s straining lid for the fried content cannot hold much if you are frying in bulk but it does the trick with small portions. It’s easy to clean up and stores away well. Very good money spent.

Its like everything you need to fry food, I made Bang Bang shrimp and it was awesome I like the rack on the top to drip the oil off as well. It's very well thought out. Just be mindful that the thermometer Celsius not Fahrenheit for as it would be in the U,S .

the pot does not work on induction cooktops, did a magnet test, and doesn't stick... seller did not respond and I'm forced to return via Amazon return.
