Works well and easy to use
I've been using this for a month or so now. I'm in small electric house and this heats up the hallway (!) I work in during the day. I was considering a different make: one with a dial, but I'm glad I went with this one with its remote and LED. Heats the area well. I set it to LOW (1Kw) and 20C. You do need to reset this if it is switched off. Timer works well. You can set to switch off, you can set to switch on, but you can't do both, be aware. If you want to do that you can use a wall timer. On very cold nights I have used the timer to heat up on the Eco7 for a few hours and switch off manually.I use the remote, as even though it is next to me, as on a stone floor it will roll on the firm key presses needed. No problem, and I'm sure it wouldn't do this on carpet. It looks good. Mine had a small chip of black paint on one of the fins, but I'm not fussy to change something just for that. Life is too short. Nice and slim too and looks good.

Good heater for a decent price
Bought this back in October to help heat a large living room and it does the job well by itself. Doesn’t take long to heat up and keeps the room nice and toasty. I haven’t bothered using the remote as I just turn it on and forget about it. The instructions for putting the feet on could have been clearer but wasn’t too hard to work it out. All in all a good heater for a decent price.

A decent heater for the dough
Received today, super fast free one day delivery even though I don't have prime account?Packaged well, seems a good quality unit sofar.I tested it out on low power @ 25 degrees. After a few mins or so you got a good heat going on. It operates quietly,, The heat lasts a good while after you turn it off also.I can tell this is definitely going to help me out this winter as my room gets sooo cold and it will blow my crappy fan heater out of the water. The only thing I can moan about so far is the manual could be a bit clearer on the following; What way round to put the wheels onto the base plate, it is simply not clear, so I chose one way and discovered it was the other way or the u bend bit will not attach as too much distance. (See my photo for what way it should be done if u buy this, might save 10 mins of your life). The timer instructions are vague(I probably won't use timer anyway as these type of products I'd rather be awake/present if it is on).The power settings bit in the manual is vague also, I have to assume the more fins the 3 sun icons has on the unit means greater power, ok is logical thinking, but confirm in the manual and not leave me to be guessing about it(ps. it seems to default to max power if u put to standby and back on, would rather it remember my previous selection). The remote. Is ok but u have to be within 1 meter range for it to pick up the presses so pretty much defeats the object. Is quicker to just press the button onit than search for remote and then have to be within 1 meter to zap it.One last moan up, the power cord could be a bit longer than 1 meter especially as the instructions state not to use with an extension lead.I still give 4 star as it does what I wanted it todo, heat my room and I don't give much doo-dars about the timer/remote. If the manual had a bit more depth/make more sense I would have given a 5 star.___________________________Warning to any buyers this unit does get very hot to touch so please be double careful if you got young children/pets around and make sure its in a sensible place away from bedsheets/curtains etc.

Dangerous
We used this sporadically for 4-5 weeks with no problem until today.I turned on the radiator and went into the kitchen, only for my 8 year old son to come running through 5 minutes later saying a blue flash had ‘came out the radiator’ and it was smoking and smelled ‘funny’.After trying to turn it off the switch kept flicking to the ‘on’ position and it was far too hot to touch (I had set it to 15 degrees). This could have resulted in a fire if my son has not had the sense to run and tell me straight away.I have requested a refund as we do not have central heating and will need to buy a replacement, time will tell if I get one or not.

It’s a good size and heats up fast
Arrived 2 days early, was well packed, you have to fit the feet which took around 10 mins. I needed a medium sized heater to heat up my garden office, this does the job well. Plugged it in went to make a coffee came back and it was hot and making a difference after only a few mins. It also looks good.

Excellent heat output
I needed this as our heating wasn't working. We set it in the doorway between the kitchen and living room and it kept both rooms pretty warm. Putting it in either room with the door closed was actually as warm as the proper radiator.I now have it permanently in the kitchen as we don't have a radiator in there but I do have my very elderly cat in his bed. So it is now on low, most of the day, and keeps the kitchen cosy for old Pete, and the rest of us too.
