WHEEL OF TIME 2: THE GREAT HUNT (REISSUE)

A much better focused continuation to the first book. Had me grip to the story most of the time unlike Eye of the world. The world is expanded in a professional manner where in Eye of the world some areas felt dragged.

And I thought Game of thrones was good. I am writing this review in my second read of the entire series, knowing what’s to come. Easily one of the best fantasy series which is etched in memory.

Has some issues here and there but found it to be almost as good as the first one .

QUALITY REVIEW~Book quality is very good. Pages quality also good.BOOK REVIEW~Some people says wheel of time books are little bit boring.Yes they are right. But why because-Jordan has different writing style than other writers.Jordan loves to explain everything.many time he repeat things in book.Book 1 was 50% boring I admit that but after completing 50% of book it pick speed.It's like you're sitting in a roller coster ride.Book 2 is on its high speed from start to end. We experience more part of this worldWHAT IS IN THIS BOOK~The Forsaken are loose, the Horn of Valere has been found and the Dead are rising from their dreamless sleep. The Prophecies are being fulfilled - but Rand al'Thor, the shepherd the Aes Sedai have proclaimed as the Dragon Reborn, desperately seeks to escape his destiny. Rand cannot run for ever. Enthralling book and series. Can't wait to start reading the next book in the series. I highly recommend the book...

The pace is merciless. From the simple, even humble beginning of the first volume, we are dropped into the middle of a fast-paced and unrelenting adventure, with no allowances or mercy shown to the laggard, whether within the book, or outside, positioned as a reader.One of the six first books and one that moves at an almost frantic pace.

Old edition, but there going to be a new edition.

Significantly much better writing than the first part with super engaging narrative than fillers! It is still as wordy as the first part but i guess you get used to it. Well into the second book, you're still learning about the world and yet you haven't seen many locations in the world - that's how vast this world is! A lot of new locations are visited here and fascinating details about each nation are revealed.. You can see inspiration from Tolkien's and the real life, but the author brings in his contribution to the genre with so many powers and much magic!! Looking forward to reading the next part

O livro é bem menor do que eu achava, mas as letras possuem um tamanho ótimo. Por se tratar do volume 2 que está em falta no Brasil (tendo até alguns vendedores que estão passando por 500,00 a versão em PT), valeu demais a pena.

Having read Book 1, I immediately bought Book 2, thirsting for more delightful story telling. The characters grow with each passing day and I couldn’t wait to read what happens to them. I found it hard to put this Book down, the tale is so well crafted. Robert Jordan ranks with the best fantasy writers and I would recommend this series. I have already purchased book 3.
