These are handy for making ceramic pendantsor anything ceramic...wind chime mjeces, for instance...that need to be attached after they are fired.. They fire in the kiln in the clay.

I finally used them last night. I make ceramic ornaments from a mold and the clay coming out of the mold is leather-hard. Sometimes when I put a hole in the top to insert a hanging wire the clay would crumble. This time, coming out of the mold I was able to insert the wires easily. The only issue I had was sometimes the wire would travel to the back if I didn't insert it positively straight. Anyway, I am happy with this product and will buy more of them. However, I have 7 sets of these ornaments made that I have to either drill holes (in bisque) for wires to be glued in, or, I would have to glue the ornament hook to the back. I'm not sure if the ornaments would shatter drilling holes since I haven't tried that yet (or farm the job out to someone who knows more about drilling holes than I do). Anyway, wish me luck!! Anyone need Twelve Days of Christmas ornaments?
