GSP NCV69583 CV Axle Shaft Assembly - Left Front (Driver Side)

I want you to know that this is absolutely the best cv joint I've ever installed. I've been around vehicles all my life. The quality is beyond anything I've ever seen. The one I noticed about this part is that it's built right. Heavy duty and it's exactly what you need in a cv joint. CV stands for constant velocity. I bought one at Napa one time and it had to replace it a week later. The price is great and because of this part and loaded steering knuckle I bought ill never buy another part at part store if I can help it. This part far exceeded my expectations that's for sure. So thank you for such a well crafted part.

UPDATED REVIEW: March 31-2025 It only LASTED 1 year and 1 Month!!! NO, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GSP BRAND! The Dreaded Clunk Is Back!! Every time I turn the wheel all the way to either side and move forward or in reverse you can hear the car make a big clunking sound and feel it at the steering wheel. Look somewhere else and don't waste your time on this GSP brand. Instead, buy this CARDONE Brand 66-5218(NEW- NOT Rebuild). I'll give it 0 out of 5 Stars! OLD REVIEW: February 29, 2024 Finally, I fixed the mysterious vibration when I press the brake or drive over 60 MPH. I thought it was bad ball joints, bushings, struts, or bent front disc. After installing the new CV Axle the front end feels new, and the previous mysterious vibration disappeared! I will update you if anything changes.

Fits 2003 Corolla. Wasted 1 hour trying to pry old Axle out of transmission with multiple pry bars, hammers, screwdrivers, and other tools. Then, rented an axle removal tool saved a lot of sweat, frustration, and swearing; it was out in less than 5 minutes. If you want to buy, tool cost ~$70. Threaded nut onto axle bolt to help hammer it, it almost stripped the acle bolt's thread so be aware of weaker material here. Install was otherwise uneventful. Current Prime delivery may be delayed by 3-4 weeks due to Covid crisis.

Very affordable and exellent part

The build quality is excellent, the neoprane boots are really well designed to flex and stretch, unlike other designs prone to tearing at the inner v ribs. I feel very confident that these will last.

Axle failed less than 2 years after purchase. Do not reccomend unless you enjoy taking your car apart and never hearing from the seller once they have your money.
