This is strictly anecdotal so please understand that I am not advocating a particular treatment, just sharing my own experience. I have a 23 year old shepherd/husky/pit mix, yes, that is twenty-three human years of age (there isn't even a place on the chart that gives dog years for her). She developed an awful tumor which was presumed to be cancer - it was hard as a rock and pulled the surrounding skin tight. At her age and with a diagnosis of laryngeal paralysis which affects her airway, there wasn't a vet who would touch her for surgery. In desperation I started looking for alternative therapies. I started my furbaby on Astragalus and ginseng bid (one tablet each twice daily) with high potency full spectrum cbd oil from Lazarus Naturals - about 1/4 dropper twice a day or more if I thought about it. My old girl weighs 54 lbs. I didn't have a formula for how much to use, it just "felt right". All of this was done with my vet's full knowledge and approval. By the end of week 3, I was starting to notice that the tumor was getting a little smaller and the skin was not as tight. Now, as I am ordering more bottles, the tumor is less than half its original size, the skin is very loose, almost normal and my old girl seems to be feeling better - she is once again snipping at the puppy. Astragalus - called huang qu in traditional Chinese Medicine, has been used in many other TCM formulas that serve as primary defense mechanisms for the body. Besides using the herb in supplements, it’s often used in cooking because it’s nourishing and strengthening - esp. when people are sick. In TCM it tonifies the spleen - when illness causes fatigue. Astragalus is a foundational herb in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The root is an amazing supplement - which our entire family swears by especially during cold and flu season, but during any time of physical or emotional stress. Astragalus supports deep immune function and liver function, it also helps the body adapt to stress. Somewhere I read that if you take Astragalus during a virus, you won’t get that same virus ever again during your lifetime. I don’t know if that’s true, but we take it when we begin to feel sick, and we avoid most of the colds and flus that go around w/o getting flu shots. Our college age kids always take a bottle back to college with them, and call home for more when they run out! It can be purchased as a capsule with dried powder from the root, dried root powder, or the roots can be purchased and you can make a decoction from boiling the root in water - it’s made strong by boiling for an extended length of time. This is one of the herbs that will always be in our cabinet, and that of all of our kids!

it does help a lot, strongly recommended for healing, will not work instantly every vitamin takes days or weeks or months to work properly, as well as it depends of your body, it is not a miraculous cure, it helps the healing process of the body, do a research on the internet or watch a review of the effect in youtube, but this has work for me, I take it daily for a few months and has help with sickness and energy, as well as if you want to intensify the effect you can mix it with other good vitamins compounds as NAD, resveratrol quercetin, and so on
