This sensor works great. Just make sure you can mount it close enough to the cable plug as the cord is shorter than my old one.

Don't let the haters convince you to not get a Gear Shift Sensor! It reduces wear on your drivetrain when you shift. You can even adjust how long it cuts off the motor when you shift, but I find the default to be adequate.

I have purchased this sensor 2 times and has split open 2 times. I do not recommend this sensor unless you immobilize it against the frame with cable ties.

I was able to install it at the shift lever because it comes with that extra piece needed to do that. Can also be installed anywhere along the cable where appropriate

Used this with my ebike kit and it works great. Stops the motor for a second when you are switching gears.

I installed this along the chainstay leading to the derailleur on my bike. It installed a bit backwards than what I had imagined in my mind, but it all worked out fine. I'm not 100% sold on it's value, but it's cheap enough and as long as the sensor lasts, I suppose it's a little extra insurance to protecting your drivetrain.

This item replaced my existing one. Worked perfectly with my HDSD Mid Drive Bafang Motor.
