front of front wheel to back of back wheel is 30 inches.It is 24 1/2 inches wide from outside to outside of back wheels.

This unit weighs about 10 lbs, easy to load in a car and is not a unit that you can sit on. It just has a pouch for small items and a book or two. It rolls easy with resting weight of 200 pounds for us. I like this unit because it manuvers easier in our small bathroom. I would contact the manufacturer for their recomendations.

if you lean on one arm does it tilt over?

It's never been an issue in normal use. You can put your full weight (say, 175 lbs) directly on one side without any tilting. Obviously, if you push heavily to one side, tilting could result. It really is a quite stable and highly maneuverable light weight walker.
