D'Addario Nickel Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings, Medium

I used these for the first time after using Phosphor bronze strings for over 10 years. I was initially not sure as the sound was different from the ones I was used to, considerably less warm. But over time the sound grew on me. The feel was very nice too almost as good as phosphor bronze, no noticeable difference. I haven’t had to change these for over a year and they’re still good, the phosphor bronze ones used to rust much faster and loose their texture. Will be continuing with these for future re l-stringing.

these strings are good for few things : the guitar becomes easier to play ( very easy to bend strings) & u get a somewhat dry tone which is more focused on fundamentals & very little overtones. if u have a complex sounding guitar with too much of overtones in the mix, then these strings will give u a more direct sound focused on fundamentals. it may not be a good choice if u already have a dry/woody sounding guitar. basically, these strings sound & feel the same as the nickel elec gtr strings. u can probably try putting them on your guitar if u wish :)

This is easily one of the nicest strings I have put on my acoustic guitar (Epiphone EJ220S mahogany solid wood). I am already a huge fan of the D’Addario EJ26 Phosphor Bronze for its warm tones and longevity, but the nickel bronze is even better! First off, the feel of the strings is so comfortable - softer than the EJ26, and smooth as silk across the frets. The unusual steel colour catches you off-guard from the usual expected acoustic string colour, but once you get used to them, they’re nice, especially across a rosewood fretboard. These sound a little less warm than the phosphor bronze but not so bright as to be ‘jangly’. They’re clear and hold a great sustain. And finally, these really hold their tuning well across more than a few sessions. I’ll buy them again once these are through. Let’s hope they last as long as the EJ’s.

Not like that bronze or phosphor bronze strings are not good ,they all have their own sound and purpose but u must try these nickel bronze ones. Don't go by the look of these strings Initially as they may look similar to the steel ones (Karuna) cause the sound is something newly* different if u have never used nickel bronze ones. I have strung them on my dreadnought and seriously I felt the difference in the sound compared to other few strings I have used,the sound felt so 'realer' if thats the word I can use😉 but u must try it to feel it. And later u may see that many of the +ve reviews about these strings are justified... Note: Don't know about the longevity of these but hope it may last longer than bronze ones. Have great day✌🏽

boa durabilidade e som limpo

Ho provato decine e decine di corde diverse sulla Taylor 317e. Dopo aver scartato le PB classiche sono passato alle alluminium bronze, poi le 85/15, 80/20, poi coated e non coated ecc. Premettendo che la corda ideale non esiste perchè dipende dai gusti personali e dalla chitarra sulla quale la si monta, in queste corde NB ho trovato il giusto compromesso tra un suono molto naturale senza essere spento, una durata niente male per una non coated (se pulite dopo ogni utilizzo) e soprattutto la cosa che mi ha stupito è una morbidezza mai trovata prima d’ora, persino sui bending (con una muta 12-56 quindi non proprio dei capelli). Estas cuerdas se sienten muy bien al tocar, en cuanto a sonido, es muy bueno, se escuha un buen balance entre graves medios y agudos, muy natural y con buena claridad, esto tambien depende del tipo de guitarra.

Me recomendaram essas cordas pra tocar com os dedos, já que estava saindo do violão dr nylon pro aço. As cordas são bem macias, o que facilita os acordes e o dedilhado. Além disso, o timbre é muito bonito.
