The sound quality is terrific for such a small machine. Easy to operate with multiple sounds to choose from. You can set it to play non-stop or select from timer options. Love that it is so portable and can run without charging for at least a few days. Oh, and the size makes it perfect for travel. Can’t believe the inexpensive cost for such a quality item!

It's a great size and like the features. Good selection of sounds and like the timer but glad to have continuous option!

I use it on the outside of my office door for privacy. It works as expected.

I took this on vacation and it worked great. One recommendation - keep the batteries separate from the machine - the buttons are all touch/press buttons rather than a slide on/off switch - so it can easily turn on in your luggage - found that out the hard way. It can get pretty loud for such a tiny device, it has a good variety of sounds and can be used all night or just a few hours. If you are like me and need it all night - you will find batteries do not last long. It made it through my 2 week trip fine, but the first time used it again the batteries died after 15 mins. Keep the wall charger handy - the only downside is the cord is very very short.

Update 1/10/24 - I wanted to be sure to update my review. When I last tried to used this white noise machine it worked perfectly. I was out of the country when I used it the first time around and I have to wonder if it wasn't a faulty outlet. I have since used this machine a few more times and I find it super convenient for traveling. I would recommend this product and buy it again, should I need to.PAST REVIEW ....With all the great reviews I chose this white noise machine for traveling. I always used my phone for white noise when traveling, but found it heats up, which made me nervous.The first night I used this machine it worked perfectly. I do wish it didn’t have a max time of 120 minutes, as when I’m home I run my other white noise machine all night long. That machine is also a radio/alarm and too cumbersome to travel with.The second night I went to turn this one and it didn’t work at all. I had it plugged in. I prefer to not worry about batteries when I’m away.Unfortunately I will be returning this product and trying a different brand. I do like that it’s compact and easy to travel with, though.

I’ve had this sound machine for about two weeks now and at first though it was a great purchase.Unfortunately it will cut off in the middle of the night without any reason. Even if it was at a full charge, it just stops.Disappointed in this purchase. Would not recommend.

I purchased 2 of these to use on vacation in Italy. We stayed at a lot of airbnbs and encountered some very noisy neighbors. My husband and I would turn these on every night before bed and always got a great night sleep! Battery life appears great- we never encountered either machine dying in the middle of the night. Also SUPER impressed with the number of sound setting options.

I cannot sleep without a sound machine but packing up the DOHM is just not always feasible. I bought this after reading some of the good reviews but I have to say, I am a little disappointed.I travel frequently so I've used this several times now. The first two times I used it, I used it with batteries. Night one, I slept about 8 hours and had no issues. The sound on it is good. You can change it between white noise, pink noise and brown noise, along with some other sounds. I'm a white noise girl. Night two, I turned it on and as I was falling asleep, it started getting quieter. In other words, the volume was slowly going down on its own. Also, it was making a weird noise "behind the scenes". For those of you who have to sleep with white noise, you know that any other noise "in" the white noise is incredibly annoying. Anyway, I ended up shutting it off and using a YouTube video on my phone.The next time I traveled, I decided to bring the USB cord. This one does come with a USB. Most of the Marriott chain hotels that I stay at have a USB in the wall or alarm clock. While using the USB, I did not experience any of the same issues I did while using the battery.In summary, I feel the battery should last longer than one night before it starts acting up! And also, what if there wasn't a USB available, like camping or something like that? That is my major issue with this product. I am keeping it and will bring it on my trips but DON'T FORGET THE CORD!3 stars
