DIGILUX Digital HPS Bulb, 600W

One of the two lamps I bought burned out after less than 3 months. The seller "Cult Hydro" is ignoring my emails.

So first bulb I get is broken so I email Amazon which I do alot these days when buying their products might I add. They overnight me a new one this time in a fancy padded box twice the size as the original, second bulb( arrived fast but notice the X shaped scratch in pictures, it arrived that way even tho it was packaged incredibly well......) goes well for a week and burns out. Pictures below are what it looked like after it burnt out all the black and what not. Was running on 600watt digital ballast which I know is compatible with a bulb named "digi"lux or you would think so... Anyway, I read all these horror stories in the reviews hoping it's just a few isolated incidents. I mean what company would possibly ship you two defective bulbs back to back??? ill answer that question AMAZON and whoever they allow to sell on there marketplace these days. So please think twice after reading all the 1 star reviews because there's truth to alot of them especially this one. Will not ever buy another bulb from amazon.

Digilux bulbs are the best money can buy. Didnt use a light meter on it, but its def. brighter and has better color than cheaper 600W HPS bulbsUpdate: Feb 6, 2016Bulb started flickering today at start up and stayed very dim and had a white light similar to a MH light. I cycled the ballast off for 30 minutes let it cool off and restarted it and the bulb did the same thing. Bulb has a lot of burnt black color on the inside tube. I am not happy with this product, Any other Digilux bulb I have ever bought lasted several years even running it 24/7/365.Makes me wonder if this is a chinese knock off bulb (been a lot of that going on lately with Amazon)

Been wanting to try these because of running a digital ballast. Was using an EyeHortilux 600, but wanted to see if using this Digilux, which is designed specifically for digital use, would make a noticable differance. Got my fingers crossed. Deff a well made bulb by the looks of it

I use only these bulbs in my plant lights. The spectrum and strength of these bulbs make my plants happy. The quality and performance of these keeps me buying these over others. Just remember to use digital ballasts with digilux bulbs.

Seller was very quick to process order. Arrived ahead of time in perfect condition. I can't say this is the best 600hps bulb out there because I only have 2 others to compare to, but if you are using a digital ballast, this bulb (especially at the sellers price) was the best option IMO.

So far so good, packaging was top notch and bulbs came with no scratches or blemishes of any kind only time will tell on the quality of the lumens!

Recommend over hortilux any day of the week. Not only are they cheaper but the spectrum is better along with the life of the bulb!
