The sigwong metallic alcohol inks will not stick on plastic. i have shaken per directions, they initially good and then dissipate. what can i do ?

Colors need something to stick to, plastic is too smooth to stay. I've never tried it but, if I were to give it a try I would do the following: If you dont mind a frosted appearance, spray some Rustoleum "frost" or "seaglass" on it first to make it a primer. Then use your alcohol inks. As a final step spray an art sealer on it. You can always use rubbing alcohol or non acetone to clean up any excess you don't want.

Are these paints good for painting rocks?

They're good if you wanted to do a background "wash" but not used as a "paint ". These are inks and less opaque than paint. These are best suited for paper and surfaces like that. Chances are, they'll fade or wash off of a rock through time. I'd stick with a metallic paint marker instead
