Rocket Dog Women's Rainy Rubber Rain Boot

I have purchased several rain boots that just don’t meet the need for non-winter rainy days. These are perfect for that purpose and blend well with my black attire. These fit snug as rain boots are supposed to do, and given the material they are made of. They cover my ankles, are not slippery on wet, smooth surfaces; and the wide, round toebox doesn’t squish my toes into an unnatural V-shape. I do have to wear a slick sock and use a shoe horn to get them on due to the way these are constructed and not having the strength in my fingers to pull them on, but they are not tight on my feet or ankles once I get them on. So, that makes these worth it. There is not much arch support (I have high arches), but I’m only walking approximately 1/2mi from car to office. These are perfect for wet weather but I personally would not wear them in snow, ice, or cold temps - they’re not made for that. I love Rocket Dog overall, I have all kinds of shoes from this brand, and they are all so comfortable and made for my feet.

I bought these boots for my Alaskan cruise. I wanted something waterproof, cute, and comfy that looked and wore like a sneaker. I put them on to test them out and wore them all day. I really like them. However, I will say it was a fight to put them on at first. You have to be willing to push your foot in, step on the back, and then pull them up. Who does all that with a new shoe? You do, if you want to get your foot in. They are snugly created to meet the expectation of dry feet. Understanding this and remembering the fight with boots as a child prepared me for the wrestling match; and I prevailed and think they are great and really cute. They wore well the entire day. They're not very thick in the sole, so I would not recommend them for rough terrain, but your feet will be snug and dry. I really like them. I would buy again, gave them 4 star because the wrestling match is real in the beginning.

I'm always leary about buying shoes online due to my wide feet and bunions. I decided to give this one a chance mostly due to the easy return policy and the cute design. I took it out of the box and it fit GREAT! Wore it to work that day and it was so comfortable and definitely 100% waterproof! Tons of compliments too. It's been storming and flooding here in California and this shoe held up and performed! I'm buying another pair!

Haven’t had the chance to test them in water yet, but judging but the quality, should be good. The tongue is sealed most of the way up over the foot, but not all the way up the ankle . The size was roomy enough to add a thin gel cushion for extra comfort/arch support. They are good quality, but definitely more for fashion on an occasional rainy day, not for everyday work/ hiking type use but I could be wrong.

Absolutely horrible quality. Received two differently crafted shoes. They look nothing a like. Exceptionally poor quality. Don’t buy!

I like the Rocket Dog brand, and the style of these are quite cute, but that's where it stops for me. They are by far the most difficult boot to get on. I mean it is literally a struggle and I don't have chubby feet at all. I loosened up the laces and still, nearly impossible to slide on with any ease at all. I think these will need to go back. Also, if you plan to wear them with socks that are BELOW the top of the boot, that will be a big mistake. Just walking in my house to see how they feel indicated that the tongue and top of the boot are going to constantly and uncomfortably press into your leg and its not only going to wear off your skin in that area, but hurt very badly. If you want a boot that won't come off your foot, well this is the boot for you, because as hard as it is to get them on your foot, it is even worse trying to get them off. So disappointed in these.

I have now purchased 3 different pairs of these same boots, in the past 14 months. They fit very well and are comfortable to wear. They do a pretty decent job keeping my feet dry. However the rubber they are made out of eventually (but relatively quickly considering how many pairs I’ve had now) cracks in the areas you bend your feet. In addition to cracking the holes for the laces, although appear to be reinforced, do not do well for lacing much. They stretch and the metal part pops out and then eventually the stretched hole becomes a torn hole and you have to skip that one in the tie up process. I would say these are fine to use as occasional rain boots. They however will not hold up to much more than occasional unfortunately.
