Beautiful book
Page after page of beautiful photo's of C. Z Guest and also geat photos of her interiors and her famous friends. This is a book that you will not just look at once. This is my go to gift for friends.

Beautiful book with a lot of history about a down to earth American Style Icon who was not afraid to get dirt under her fingernails working in her garden as well as being stylish without being a slave to fashion, i.e. wearing classic clothes that had been in Mrs. Guest's closet for years which never went out of style. Sorry that I never met her in person.

An insight into a lady
I have read much about CZGuest and was intrigued to find out more.Her simplicity and down to earth attitude is evident In this book.It gives the reader am insight ,albeit not a deep insight, into an elegant hostess,style icon and true lady.

Loved and admired C.Z. Guest - her style, gardens, home decor, etc., and God knows, women like that no longer exist. Think of today's billionaires and their lack of taste! Loved the photos and read the entire book.

This is a fabulous book about an icon of style with fabulous photos and commentary about another time and place. Price is right, too.

Heres to C.Z.!!!
What a great book on this lovely and lively lady of society. Through photos and minimal text, one gains insight into this ladys life, loves and passions. Beautifully executed with brief stories by people who knew her. A must for those who delight in "the ladies who lunch" era.
