It's quiet, and takes a surprising amount of water out of the air.Not used much over the summer, but is indispensable in the winter when windows are closed, and washing is dried indoors. Place it nearest the dampest source, or buy more than one if you have multiple areas of humidity.Highly recommended.

During winter when you cannot put washing outside I have the duvet cover and sheet draped over an airer but that creates condensation so I bought this, and I'm so glad I did. The bedclothes are still on the airer next to the dehumidifier and within 24 hours all the moisture is in it instead of on the windows. I placed it in the conservatory away from me because you can hear it. It's not noisy but it's not silent either and would annoy me if I had to sit in the same room.

Set it up in a very damp room. It's been running for around 5hrs and its water tank is completely empty. Completely ineffective. It is quite quiet though.

This little dehumidifier does help in drying laundry but doesn't help with condensation on my windows. Conveniently small and easy to move from room to room.

Very impressed with the amount of water/condensation this item collects .Has made a huge difference to our north facing bedroom.we switch this on first thing on a morning then switch off when we go to bed as its too noisy to sleep with it on.Its solved our problem and i would highly recomend this item.

We bought this for my son's room as its at the top of our house and always seems a bit damp. I wanted something small and easily left on without being too loud. It also needed to be easy to empty as we have a big humidifer in the basement and it is very heavy when filled with water.Alas for some reason we could not empty the unit once it filled up. We tried a bit of everything and it just seemed stuck on one side. We even tried some manouvers probably frowed upon to open it. It would not budge.I emailed customer support and there were super! I showed them a video of the problem and they have sent us a relacement without ANY discussion. The drawer should not need brute force and something was wrong. Period.We received the replacement within days ... and its working like a charm.Very impressed with how they handled things.
