I bought these for my sisters birthday party for the table decor. For the price and quantity, they are very good quality. I bought some from the 99 cent store and they just weren’t bright like at all. Theses ones however are very bright and come with its own batter that lasted a few days on. They are not remote controlled but are easy to turn off and on by hand. They are long and good for room decorations as well. They don’t tangle and never experienced any issues with weak connections between the battery box and the lights. Affordable lights that perform better than most decor lights out there.

Use caution when un-rolling, may be fragile, but seem very well made and should be lots of fun during the holidays. I did not know the box contains a dozen lights so a much better value than what I expected. On/off switch works great, lights are very bright and colorful and apparently the batteries are replaceable as it comes with a tiny screwdriver. After two eight-hour days of use, they still are bright and working perfectly. My guess three 8-hour days may be the limit of the batteries. Very good value and well made.

We used these inside clear glass insulators for a party. They made perfect centerpieces and the lights stayed on for 10 hours!

Edit - 12-21-2024 - First wanted to correct the type of battery these take. I have gotten a bit dyslexic in my old age and the correct type of battery for these lights is CR2032, not CR2023 as I stated. Also, an update on approximately how long the batteries last in one string - my wife had a string switched on for about 7 hours a night since we received them and that has been about 45 days. The lights in that string are now very weak but still illuminate the lights dimly so overall, the batteries seem to have a good lifespan. - End of edit.My Wife has the fairy lights in many different places around our house as part of her Christmas decorations and is very pleased with how they look and how light weight they are. She has already told me that she intends to keep many of them in operation in various locations in the house after the holidays because she likes them so much.We have not had to replace any batteries yet and I am not sure I saw the battery type mentioned on the page but if you were wondering, each set takes 2 flat CR2023 3V batteries. We consider these lights to be both great looking and an excellent value.

These lights are exactly what I wanted to add a little coziness to my living room. The batteries they come with don't last that long and it's a little bit of a pain to change because you have to unscrew two tiny screws on the back in order to access them. (You'll need a tiny screwdriver head, like the ones used for eye glasses screws). Otherwise, with the brand name or amazon brand batteries, the lights shine a bit brighter and for longer than the batteries they come with. The length of the strands are not too short so easy to wrap around curtains a few times. In the picture, they are wrapped in the curtains, and on the ceiling with photos hanging from them, and in the plants on the window sill (the lights on the curtain rod are actual Christmas lights, and as you can see they are just as bright!). Great buy for the price, as it comes with 12 separate strands. Easy to turn off and on. When you open a strand though, do slowly and carefully so the cords don't get all tangled.

Put these in jars with flower, filled with water and candle on top. The little case with the batteries is not waterproof, but we hid that in the bow... The worse part was probably unwrapping and untangling a few of the wires. But if you're careful it's fine, all twelve worked... Would buy again

Although these have gotten an overall low rating for battery life, I gotta say the 2 diff strings I tested have burned for literally 14 days straight..and counting. I turned them on to do a trial run and meanwhile 2 weeks later they are still 2 sweet and happy little spots of cheer that make me smile.Maybe that's a fluke, but hey, I'll take it!

lights could brighter and the battery doesn't last long maybe two 3 days. I use them fro projects and cut the batter off and wore them to breadboards. with 3.5v they are brighter and I have a power source to them. For the price for tinkering they are great but otherwise the battery won't last long.
