PHAIDON Annie Leibovitz: Wonderland

I’ve been a big fan of Annie’s work for over 35 years and own several of her books. This one is no doubt beautifully published but lacks the feeling of ‘soul’ that her other books have. This is understandable because the content is her fashion work, but it feels like it was published because she had some photos that hadn’t yet made it into other books for whatever reason. Interesting, but I found ‘Women’, ‘Pilgrimage’, or even ‘At Work’ to provide more interesting content.

Enjoyed this book very much. The cover is beautiful but most importantly I enjoyed the pictures very much. Good size and quality.

Das Buch ist sehr schön – ich habe als Berufsfotograf schon einige von ihr aber dieses ist mit Abstand das bisher schönste – eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Absolutely beautiful. Worth every penny.
