I bought this after seeing a YouTube review comparing many digital calipers. They are exactly as described in the review: Very large, easy to read numbers, accurate, and smooth. For woodworking, why would I pay more? They seem sturdy and they're much, much better than the Harbor Freight versions I've been using for years.

I was on the fence about buying this because it seemed unlikely a tool at this price could achieve the level of precision you inherently want if you’re buying digital calipers. Surprisingly the build quality is great and measurements down to 0.1mm have been spot on.

This tool works fine. I am happy it has 3 different settings for measurements which I find I do use. The only negative I have for this tool is that the battery will drain even when the device is off. The case has a spot to keep the battery which is nice because I now remove the battery when I am not using it. It is simple enough to slide the battery back in place when I use it so it is not really in the way but it would be nice to not have to do this. It would of gotten 5 stars except for this issue.

I purchased this caliper to measure brake rotors thicknesses at work. I use it almost everyday and the product has held up nicely, and feels sturdy and heavy in your hand. The caliper moves very smoothly and feels nice to use.

Great caliper for the money. Easy to use and accurate readings.

When you slide the jaw it turns on. Also it turns off automatically. Not good features.

Occasionally it can be a little stiff & getting it moving again generally requires a re-zeroing out, but it seems generally accurate enough for my uses (I wouldn't trust it further than logic would suggest you should trust a digital device at this price).Easy to read & easy to change settings (metric to imperial, zero out).Installed battery was dead, which causes me to believe it's going to be a battery killer (nothing in the case would have hit the button to turn it on, so it's either a slow drain or it's sensitive to vibrations - something it'll be exposed to on my workbench) ... not looking forward to having to buy, track & feed it batteries regularly (if it's as bad as I fear, I'll update this review after I go through a few - no updates means they lasted at least 90 days on average - listing currently quotes 180 days).FYI: I couldn't read it in the listing photo & I didn't notice it anywhere in the description, but the battery is an AG13, currently about $0.50/each in packs of 10 on Amazon & significantly cheaper each in larger quantities.

The large digital display is very easy to read and is quite accurate. It comes with a hard plastic case and two batteries (one already installed and one extra). It appears to be excellent quality for the price (although we'll have to see how it stands up).

Der digitale Messschiebe, erfüllt diese Anforderungen perfekt und hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen.Zunächst einmal beeindruckt mich die Präzision dieses Messschiebers. Trotz seines erschwinglichen Preises liefert er genaue Messergebnisse, die für die meisten DIY-Projekte mehr als ausreichend sind. Ich habe ihn bereits für verschiedene Aufgaben verwendet, von Holzbearbeitung über die Planung von Ersatzteilen mit CAD Programmen für den 3d Druck bis hin zur Metallbearbeitung, und war jedes Mal mit den Ergebnissen zufrieden.Die Bedienung des Messschiebers ist ebenfalls sehr einfach. Das gut ablesbare LCD-Display zeigt die Messwerte deutlich an, und die Bedienelemente sind intuitiv angeordnet. Auch das Umschalten zwischen metrischen und imperialen Einheiten funktioniert reibungslos.Die Qualität und Haltbarkeit des Messschiebers haben mich ebenfalls überzeugt. Er liegt gut in der Hand und fühlt sich robust an, was wichtig ist, wenn man ihn häufig verwendet. Außerdem wird er mit einer Schutzhülle geliefert, die ihn vor Staub und Schmutz schützt, wenn er nicht in Gebrauch ist.Einziger Negativpunkt ist, dass er ab und zu bereits in der Schutzhülle an ist, da sich der Knopf hierfür sehr leicht drücken lässt.Insgesamt kann ich den digitalen Messschieber jedem Heimwerker empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach einem präzisen und dennoch erschwinglichen Messwerkzeug ist. Er hat sich als äußerst nützlich erwiesen und ist ein unverzichtbarer Bestandteil meiner Werkzeugkiste geworden.

Pas de critique négative sur ce pied à coulisse. De belle fabrication en inox, il est présenté dans un étui rigide, prêt à fonctionner. La lecture directe est très lisible. La petite molette d'ajustement est très pratique pour venir au plus près de l'objet à mesurer. Il faut juste veiller à ce que le 0 soit bien indiqué en position fermée. Petit plus....une seconde pile est fournie.Un outil bien pratique lorsqu'on bricole. Très bon rapport qualité/prix.

The manual is not in English Language and missing a mini screwdriver that should come with it.

Matériel professionnel. Une petite remarque. Il se met en route dès que la coulisse bouge un tout petit peu.Lorsque qu'on le suspend entre 2 clous et que les mâchoires ne sont pas serrées au maximum, il se rallume parce que la partie coulissante a bougé de 1 centième de millimètres.
