I’ve been using the Scosche MXDM Magnetic Phone Holder for a few weeks now, and I have to say, I’m really enjoying this product. It’s one of those accessories that just works exactly how you want it to, without any unnecessary complications.Installation was quick and straightforward. The adhesive base is strong and secure—I mounted it on my car’s dashboard, and it hasn’t budged once, even through hot days, cold mornings, and bumpy roads. The magnet itself is powerful enough to hold my phone (a fairly heavy model with a case) without slipping or rotating, even during sharp turns or sudden stops.What I appreciate most is the ease of use. I can just hop in the car, tap my phone onto the mount, and it’s locked in place. No need to fiddle with clamps or awkward cradles. The low-profile design also keeps my dashboard looking clean and uncluttered, which is a nice bonus.So far, I haven’t had a single issue. The mount holds firm, the magnet is strong, and the included metal plates were easy to install (I put one inside my phone case and it still works perfectly).If I had to nitpick, I’d say it’s important to be sure where you mount it, because the adhesive is very strong and not meant to be repositioned easily. So far I really enjoy this cell phone mount, it's really strong magnetic face. The phone fits on it fine. It keeps it's position locked.

One of the best out there, however, I'm on my third one in three years. In both my previous mounts the suction cup base developed a tear, lost suction and eventually fell off my dash when the adhesive could no longer support my phone on its own. Once installed, I never remove it from my dash. This mount uses suction AND adhesive to do its job. The magnets will hold even the heaviest phone even through a thin case. Fairly good mount. Four stars for lack of longevity.

This is small enough to not block your view, holds your cell phone well… Bought one for my daughter so she can use her GPS on her cell when driving and answer calls hand free!

These are very nice can use on dash which works very well ! Or on your windshield as stated ! Magnet is very strong ! So nice not to have to adjust everything to put your phone on holder ! Can't beat the price either ! Awesome !

UPDATED AGAIN 11.3.16...This has almost completely stopped holding my phone at all. It falls multiple times daily, to and from work and it now won't stay in an upright position, but starts sliding down and over to one side before it just falls completely off. I'm tired of picking my phone up off the floor or having to deal with it while driving. I recently took the interstate home due to construction on my usual route - it vibrated SO badly at those higher speeds that it was annoying more than anything. This product is a 100% FAIL for me. Wasted money that I can't get back. I would NOT recommend this product at all.UPDATED 9.27.16.....After a month of use I am sadly, very disappointed in this product. It started off strong and great, now, not so much. My phone, while on the magnet, is now vibrating quite a bit and makes a noise from all the movement. Not a loud, obnoxious noise, but you can hear it "rattling". The super duper strong magnet has lost it's oomph and my phone falls from the magnet at least twice a day on the way to AND from work. I have not changed courses and I take back roads, so my top speed is 50MPH. Given the new details, I would no longer recommend this product. It doesn't stand the test of time, at least it hasn't for me.I previously had an iOttie Model HLCRIO101. It had a silicone/gel insert on the suction cup that melted in 100° temps recently. While looking for a replacement, I saw some magnetic ones that looked so much easier to use and had less moving parts. I conducted research on Amazon and found this one to have good reviews and a style I liked.I own a Jeep 4x4 with big tires, so my ride isn't the smoothest from the get go. I'm stating this because other users have mentioned that there is too much vibration. I mount mine for GPS usage - on the windshield - just to the left of the steering wheel.Compared to the iOttie, this model does have more vibration/shaking to it. It only occurs on bumpier roads and not at all on smooth surfaces. While the vibration is more, it is not to such a degree that I cannot see or read the screen. It certainly is also not enough for me to consider it defective or return for something else. I honestly don't know of any windshield or dash cellphone mount that doesn't vibrate some.This product does not have a gel/silicone insert on the suction cup (which I like) and it is firmly attached to the windshield even prior to locking the base in place. Once it's locked, it's on extremely well.The bendable neck is very sturdy yet easy to position where/how you want it. It brings it out further from the windshield than the iOttie did, but that means it's closer and easier for me to read.Placement of your device on or taking it off is extremely easy and doesn't involve much effort at all. This is a perk over the iOttie (it required you to snap it into place and then push in on two buttons located on either side of it, to remove your phone). I like the minimalist look and use of this device.I wasn't sure how well a magnetic device would hold my Samsung Galaxy S5 and LifeProof Case. I chose to mount the rectangular metal piece inside the battery cover of my phone. Even with the metal plate inside the phone, that is then inside a case, the pull is strong enough to keep my phone firmly and securely mounted. Very impressive.I would say this product is well worth the money and makes mounting your device a breeze.
