Short but extremely hot. A lioness and computer geek.Scarlett is a lion shifter and very attracted to her boss Knox. A couple of problems....1) he's human and 2) he has a girlfriend. Scarlett's lion is yelling "MINE" and "MATE" but she's afraid she will hurt him.Knox has fallen for Scarlett but she keeps her distance. He breaks it off with his girlfriend and goes after her. He has a party at his mansion, when he stumbles across his ex being kidnapped. He tries to help but they are wolf shifters and almost kill him. His scientist friend has been working on a serum to cure human diseases with shifter mixtures. To save him, they inject him and he heals but there are several different animals in him.They serum gets stolen and they must work fast to get it back before its sold to the government or the bad guys.Awesome story. Fast paced. Took me about an hour to read. Couldn't put it down. Get ready for a cold shower.

I so enjoyed this book. Ms T has a gift for getting to the heart of the matter. Knox as a super shifter oh man. Scarlett is a lucky girl and that side plot was just right. My only question is how can I give more stars. Thank you Ms T!!!

I loved this short story. The characters, as always, were well written. The chemistry between them was scorchingly hot. Not to give it completely away, love how Alpha Geek turned out definitely panty melt worthy. Lives up to Milly fan standards in my opinion. Must read!

I was looking forward to this book, but it was kind of disappointing. It's a decent story, don't get me wrong. It's probably worth its $0.99 Kindle price. But in all honesty, Milly's characters didn't have their usual depth, the storyline was way too predictable (and shorter than I thought it would be), and the sex scenes weren't all that steamy. It pains me to say that since she's one of my favorite authors, but these book reviews are supposed to be impartial no matter how much we like an author's previous work.I also didn't like how in the beginning of the story, the hero drools and lusts after the heroine while he's still dating another woman. . . and I don't mean he's just thinking "hey, she's kind of cute". His thoughts are more graphic than that. I don't think it's very complimentary of his character to be stringing one woman along while wanting to be with another. Doesn't seem very hero-like behavior if you ask me. It also makes me wonder if, after he's been with our heroine for a while, will he think it's okay to think about some other woman in the same way?And speaking of unheroic behavior, there's also a scene where he's spying on the heroine via remote camera as she's masturbating in his office, which oddly enough made me feel like he was skating pretty close to the creepy line.

This book was fun and intriguing. Starting out, the secretary, Scarlett, has a crush on her boss, Knox but he is dating someone else. Scarlett is a lion shifter and Knox is human and she is afraid that she will kill him if she tries to turn him.Knox leaves the office to go on a date with his girlfriend, Lisa, and Scarlett goes in his office and sets down at his desk. She doesn't know that he has a camera and sees everything she does and he breaks up with the girlfriend. The next night he has a party at his mansion and seduces Scarlett but she runs away because her lion wants to mark him. Knox hears a woman scream and it is Lisa that a bunch of shifters are kidnapping. He tries to stop them and gets hurt real bad. Stanley's brother, Neal and Knox had a friend in college that he calls that has been studying shifter DNA and gives Knox 4 shots that heal him quickly and makes him an alpha plus more.

Milly you did it again , this is an amazing story! I really hope this turns into a series and another one is in the works ! It has everything you want in a great book: adventure, love, comedy, suspense , mystery , SURPRISES!!!!!, freaking yummy steamy parts that makes you have goose bumps it's so hot ! And the last 3 things makes a great book for me , the characters, I absolutely love Scarlet and Knox , and their story . I will put a book down if the first chapter does not pull me in and when I started reading this book I could not put it one down till i was finished with it , it's that GREAT! And lastly family I love how strong the family connection is with the characters in all your books I have read and now that includes this one. Please if your reading my review just buy this book it's so worth every penny and you will read it over and over again!Thanks again Milly for another awesome read!Happy reading everyone 😊

Alphas are usually (not always) arrogant jerks, some you want to strangle 45 seconds after first meeting them. Let me be the first to say, not this alpha. Get the water bottle handy so you can quench your thirst after being absorbed into the pages of yet again a wonderful read that will have you wanting more.Milly Taiden has once again given us all another juicy, short steamy story to pant over.No spoilers, go grab yourself a copy now, you won't regret it.Happy reading ;-)

Oh my gosh, what can I say except this is one HOT alpha. Scarlett a lion shifter has the hots for her boss Knox who is considered a geek, (something this reader finds a little hot). After Knox suffers from potentially fatal injuries from an attack his only chance of survival comes from shifter dna. That is all I am going to say about the story itself as I don't want to spoil it for anyone. Scarlett, whilst wanting to climb all over her boss is put off by the fact that he is human. However Knox does show signs of strength and alpha-ness, (if that's a word) from the beginning and he wants her too. I also liked that Scarlett was a strong woman in her own right and knew what she wanted.Whilst I loved, loved, loved this story and boy o boy Ms Taiden does not disappoint on the steamy language and scenes, I would have really liked if it had been a little longer. Purely because the 'chase' was so good I wanted it to last.If you haven't tried Ms Taiden's books I highly recommend them and this one wouldn't be a bad story to start with.

This really just didn't work for me. I love shifter romances, I love fated mates and, when done well, I am completely on board with insta-love instant relationships. However this story just felt really rushed and the characterisation was paper thin so there really wasn't much to get invested in.It's really quite short yet despite that I almost considered abandoning it halfway through because the story was just not drawing me in at all and I just was not enjoying it. Some of the dialogue too made me cringe, especially towards the end (no spoilers being mentioned) so although I stuck it out to the end, it was overall an unsatisfactory experience. I did enjoy the premise - and was actively looking forward to reading it - but ultimately it just was too flimsy for me.I do thorough enjoy Milly Taiden's Paranormal Dating Agency books but none of the cleverness present in those revealed itself here.

This is a stand alone book but I loved every bit of it. A lioness knows she wants her boss but he's human and she's afraid to hurt him. He's her boss but knows that he wants her. After a near death experience and a big experiment with drugs he becomes a shifter. Can they now claim each other while righting the wrong done and keeping the experiment a secret. Read this to find out. Another great book by Milly Taiden and I highly recommend it

I really enjoyed this book. I loved both Scarlett and Knox. Scarlett is a lion shifter and has a real 'thing' for her boss Knox. However as he is human she is scared that she would break him! This all changes however when he is attacked and the only way to save him is to inject him with serum and a cocktail of other drugs - when he wakes up - WOW. I loved the relationship between the 2 and also Scarlett's brother and sister in law. Knox was a real alpha. He could definitely be one of my book boyfriends!

Here is another fascinating, gripping and brilliant story from Milly Taiden. If you haven't already read any of her works in highly recommend her stories especially this one. You definitely won't regret it as all her books grab your attention from the very first paragraph. So pick this story up first and enjoy the world's that Milly Taiden creates.
