These are great! I read several reviews referring to the screw sticking up into the clip. This is true of the large clips, the screws were too long. It took me five minutes to shorten them. You shouldn’t have to modify them, the manufacturer should fix this. However, it’s not hard to do. Now they are perfect and work great! Someone stated the magnets were not strong. I disagree. The magnets are strong enough to hold several pounds. They can’t be expected to hold five pounds or more. I plan to order more of them. I highly recommend these magnetic clips.

These clips are very poorly designed!! With the clips tight against the magnetic base you easily would damage the flashlight putting it in or removing it from the screws extending too far out. If you were screw the clips out from the base far enough to not damage the flashlight, you would end up with the clips moving around and being loose as you try to place/remove the flashlight.HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU SKIP THIS ITEM.

These just hold the flashlights and they and mount on the furnace perfect

I purchased a pack of 4 of these. Unfortunately, one of them broke the first week. That is why 3 stars. The other ones seem to be ok. I didn’t send it back because it was so inexpensive I didn’t want to waste my time on it.

These were made with a long bolt through the clamp making it useless. Anything you try to put in will be blocked by the bolt sticking through.

I actually like them. I saw the other reviews and I understand their frustration. These are NOT that flexible. They expand a tiny bit but if you force it…see other reviews.. I only wish they offered one size but they are cheap. Final thought, the smaller size fits a AA Maglite (loosely) and the larger size will not fit a C cell Maglite. Hopefully this helps.

For the large clamps, the post on the magnet is too tall, and prevents the clamp from working properly. The smaller clamps use a screw from the clamp into the magnet and do not protrude into the clamping area.
